He did the disappearing act back in March but still pays the rent. I've grown so comfortable with him being away. Now he keeps saying he's coming back but not showing up. I don't want to be with him, he obviously doesn't want to be with me, but I don't want to move. I've built a lovely home in his absence. He works for the landlord so he has more influence over the lease agreement than me.

Me: Leo sun, cancer moon, libra rising

Him cancer sun, virgo moon, aries rising.

Ive told him keep his rent, but he ends up calling me with some sob story about needing my help.

I try to just enjoy the free rent but I'm tired of being in his control.

Most of my friends say just let him keep paying, but, I'm a leo, I have my pride. I'd rather sleep in my car with a man genuinely loves me than be in this palace waiting for this dummy cancer.

I built this one too my liking in the last year. I even put in new flooring. He should move.

Well it all depends on whose name is on the lease. If his name is on the lease, the best thing you can hope for is "squatter's right" which varies per state in the U.S. Otherwise you'll have no real choice but to suck it up and get a new place (preferably in your name so this doesn't happen again). If your name's not on the lease he can kick you out at any time really.

If both of your names are on the lease, you can try taking legal action, but that will probably not go well because you mentioned that he's still paying rent. So there's no real grounds to evict him. If you're not married, you can't divorce him and it doens't sound like you have the grounds for a restraining order.

If you really want to be rid of this guy, you'll need to take the initiative and leave.
