Yeah, the great love of my life started with a one-night-stand so I don't knock it. This guy did try all night to bang me. I had him pressing into me for about 14 hours, so he wanted to. I just didn't do it (thankfully) because it was too quick in the circumstances.

Yeah, see the avatar is Persephone -like you said, Goddess of the Underworld. the story is cool, and my best friend told me I reminded her of this woman because she is a bridge from dark to light and she can connect with both equally. I don't look like that though 🙂 I feel a bit like you can read into me! Cancer's always do that. It's cool 🙂

This description of a prior encounter over 14 hours reminded me of the ONE time I actually stayed in a girls house and didn't have sex. She was a Cancer I met at work and took her to the company Christmas party. It was the strangest thing, after a great night she takes me home, we have a dance or two. Then she decides it's time for bed and wants me to stay over. So she goes in the bathroom and comes out in a robe and leads me to the bedroom where I proceed to get ready for who knows what? Take off my suit coat, and so on. She tells me I have to stay dressed, but sleep in her bed, in a very expensive suit. I'm on "rock-rock" and trying all night to get her to give in. No possible way - so at about 5 AM, I said "fuck this", and told her I couldn't sleep there in a state of arousal, so I left. That was the end of her and me, and we did get along great, and the attraction was there. But putting someone in your bed and expecting them to sleep with their clothes on is just ridiculous - talk about being "led on". Not this cowboy. All I could think about was how weird she was after that. Why not just say, heh it's been a good night, and make plans for the next weekend, and send me home? Strange. At the time, she was divorced for a year or two, in her late 20's, and I had never been married - 30 yo.

In this case, I worked at the same company as her, so I didn't want to just bang her - I liked her enough to consider a relationship. But the whole night was about the strangest thing to ever happen to me on a date.

He asked to stay here, no one had a gun at his head and we were talking and kissing.

I don't have sex with people unless I know them better - I wasn't teasing, just being safe for myself.

If I'd slept with him, he'd have done the same thing 🙂

I think your message is kind of insulting to men and women at the same time. Men aren't children, they can make their own choices. Not up to a woman to tell a guy what to do.

If you missed out on a relationship because a girl let you stay over and didn't have sex with you then that's crazy. Sorry, but crazy.

It's this idea that some sort of actions on behalf of a woman makes or breaks the chance of a relationship. don't sleep with him, don;t lead him on, show him you like him, don't be clingy, play hard to get, don't be cold. too many rules.

Just be yourself and if the guy likes you and he's normal he will call.

Is sex the only enjoyable way to spend time with a woman? I had a great time kissing /talking. Was wonderful. If he wasn't enjoying it, he should have left.

I think therein lies the problem. You saw the situation from a woman's point of view, he perhaps saw it as fun4life describes.

A case of miscommunication.

But if he did, he could have left? I don't think I can go around mind reading what someone is thinking and forcing them to do stuff based on my guesses. Most men I have known loved kissing and talking. If this guy didn't enjoy it he should have gone home.

They love it more when it goes further. He could have left but likewise he was probably hoping for a little somethin-somethin in the morning.

I don't think you can be surprised that a man who meets a woman on tinder and then spends the night with her on the first date isn't thinking he is going to get some.

Most men I have known see the kissing and talking as a way in. It's the price you pay to get your end away.

And let's face it, the talking can't have captured him that much otherwise he would be interested in further deep and meaningful conversations with you.

No I understand he might have hoped he would, but I was clear I didn't have 1st date sex.

Sure, he obviously didn't enjoy it as much as me but I didn't know that.

If he didn't enjoy it, he could have left. Not much else I can do. I don't think it's right to blame me for not throwing him out 🙂

Moot point anyway, the right guy would have enjoyed it.

For him to stay that long makes me think he was definitely interested. But there was either one thing that was a deal breaker for him or he felt guilty about spending time with you because he likes someone else.

Although I do think anyone who can't do a relationship shouldn't be dating someone but no judgement on him.

And today I recreated my Tinder account after my tantrum, and within two hours, he superliked me. And they say us women are the crazy ones!

The upside of this was my great conversation with all of you 🙂 and hopefully I will eventually grow that thicker skin...although I doubt it!

My Scorpion curiosity has the better of me with this Libra guy and I'd love some feedback from you Libras.

We had a first date and it seemed to go really well. He seemed quite nervous, fumbly at first and he is probably the first date I have met in a lot of years who showed up with a bunch of flowers and he kept saying really nice things to me, but sweet and not creepy.

I'd describe him as the nerdy type!

On the date he was giving all the signs of attraction; complimenting me, stroking my fingers, totally engaged on me and asking lots of questions and sharing lots of personal thoughts and ideas. He nervously went in for the kiss half way into the date and it was a great kiss. He went in for lots more kisses and walked me home holding hands then came up and talked with me for about 8 hours straight.

I was watching him and all the body language was saying the attraction was there. Pupils like saucers, leaning into me, trying to touch me, trying to impress me by telling me all his best achievements and all that. It was actually sort of adorable and I felt quite warmed to him and disarmed.

I was thinking I'd found a real gentleman and the conversation was seriously great - a bit of debate, a lot of philosophy and he was really smart and interesting and the conversation just flowed really easily.

We didn't have sex, but he did sleep over and he snuggled me all night, woke up and kissed me a lot more. Although we woke up early, he stayed with me until lunch, more talking and kissing and said he'd like to see me again and I agreed that I'd like that too.

And then nothing! Two days and not had even a text.

I'm so shocked he hasn't called.

Is this a classic case of me being played or him losing interest? We met through online dating and so I am feeling now like maybe he was disappointed with me in real life.

Have you heard from him since?

nope, I really don't ever expect to hear from him again. Deleted his number and all messages.

I don't know @BuffaloBills28. We did other stuff, fooled around but I didn't feel right having sex on a first date in this particular situation. It was a very sexy night though.

It is weird. Maybe he met someone else he likes better, maybe he didn't like my ugly face in the morning, maybe he was not that into me once he'd spent time talking to me

I think that they mean to but the water signs and the Earth signs in my experience are not big fans of texting. And since you're an air sign communication through words is very important to you but you are currently involved with a water sign and Earth and they're just not that into words and it is frustrating.
