+1!! I totally agree! When a guy is genuinely interested, he takes the initiative, no matter how shy or idiotic he is. If you feel that you are constantly initiating contact, then he is not interested! At least not the way you want him to be interested. He is just being nice, especially if he is a libra. Libra men do not like to be rude, crass or disliked by others for any reason. Basically their motto is "be liked by everyone by any means necessary". Lol. This often leads to ladies thinking that "omg he responded right away to my msg so he must like me." On the contrary, he's responding right away to your requests because he doesn't want you to think of him badly aka good guy complex. Sometimes I lose sight of exactly what I'm telling you, but I remind myself of what I'm saying to you, and I walk away from my guy. My recent situation with a libra guy was similar to yours or pretty much every woman that comes on here seeking insight to the mind of a libra male. Considering how well I know the men of this sign, I can't believe I lost sight of what I already knew. The libra dude always responded to my msgs and requests right away, but at the end, I always felt that I was initiating contact most of the time. So if he is not asking you questions about yourself or contacting you, he is not into you. Word of advice: when a libra male is interested, they contact you and show their good listener skills. Yhey ask questions and listen to you talk. Walk away from him.

good advice on how to detect whether he is interested or not however, don't be too hasty. He hasn't had a chance yet so don't write him off. You know that a day in their (men) eyes is like a week in ours?? So chill out and don't hold any expectations on him.

I am curious as to why he would ask you for a hug though....at this point you only have a business relationship don't you?

No offense, but you're a guy. Guys have their own set of rules in order to avoid those types of girls that guys dislike. This is how girls learn to weed out the decent guys from the assholes. In many instances, guys blowing hot/cold = stringing you along as a potential side piece when it's convenient for him.

Every situation is different and of course women should use their intuition to determine if the guy is shy or full of shit. In all honesty, it gets old trying to communicate with someone who's hot/cold. Such a turn off after awhile.

But what she's described sounds very much like the epic Libra male hot/cold bs that makes you think that they MIGHT be interested, but they aren't. :/ Too much pseudo bs involved with these guys sometimes.

Not sure if this is a Libran thing... My ex sorta did this, I think. I was trying to be friendly and open the door for friendship and he went all asshole on me. I think he thought I was interested. ...stupid. :/

lol... he's probably just doing his own thing. whenever i'm "silent" with a guy it's because i usually have other guys in mind... so he probably just has other females, or things going on in his life and a girlfriend isn't his #1 priority right now. - just go with the flow, enjoy the ride, see where it takes you... aaaand don't put all your eggs into one basket. 😉
