The Libran men seem to be culprits of this more so than the Libran women. However, when put on the spot and confronted, whilst being offered the chance to come clean. More lies tend to spill forth to cover up the inane initial lie.

Ironically, for topics of depth or sensitive subject matters the level of honesty tends to be much higher and you lot are forthcoming. š
Lying, in whatever form it may be, breaks down trust. If the information was not important in the first place or you feel no need to cover your tracks nor clean up after your lie. Then do not do this silly bullturd. It creates resentment in those around you, and when it matters they will never be able to trust you again.
By avoiding conflict, you end up creating complications and drama. Besides, the truth is always found and it only makes people despise you for doing so. A little more respect for the intelligence of others, would be appreciated.

Yes, everyone lies.. we get that. But there are different types of lying.. The type of lying we are talking about is the kind where someone will tell you that they are wearing green socks when you can clearly look down and see they are wearing white.. however the person will defend their green socks until the end.. Or more accurately will turn the whole situation around and find something else to throw at you to avoid talking about their green socks at all. Once I lied to my Scorpio best friend. She looked at me and asked me if I was happy. I said yes. She looked at me and asked me again. And again I said yes.
She saw right through me. I wasnāt happy. I hated where my relationship was going, I didnāt like my job anymore. I was holding onto memories that were in the past and were actually no longer a part of reality. In fact, that happiness had been gone for a while.
But Iām not the type to give up something I started very easily. I try to go with the flow and just understand that crap happens, itās not perfect, it never will be.
I was obviously unhappy. So why did I lie? I didnāt want to believe it myself. Like I said, giving up is not easy for me.

I finally looked her in the eyes and broke down crying. She told me a lot of things she had known for a while and said she knew I was doing all I could, but it was time to think about my health as well, not just everyone elseās.

My god, Librans are worse than Virgos in taking possible criticism and questions. For a sign of balance you are certainly taking what I have said to an extreme and miscontruing it.
As I reiterate myself, my OP never said all Librans are this way but if you decide, like most Librans here and take offence at my sharing my observations. So be it, though unfortunate since I do not despise you all nor did I ever say so in my entire thread.

i'm just saying that if it's libran trait shared amongst some (as you have stated) to lie, then it's a rational and logical reaction to avoid them. to me that is logical.
for example, if i don't like the majority of strawberries. if i think geez, every time i have a strawberry it's normally an unenjoyable experience. sometimes it's good but on the whole...ugh, it's pot luck, i'm going to avoid them. i'm going to go straight to the grapes which are fucking fantastic. never eaten a grape i didn't enjoy. to me, that makes sense.
but i get a sense you are looking for a fight. so i'll leave you to it.
now before you say it, i'm not being a victim. you're entitled to your opinion. you're entitled to your reaction. you're entitled to ask the question. i'm just offering some advice.

I've noticed this too. I have some Gem friends who are always so truthful yet some just go straight to manipulation. What surprises me tho is they're terrible at it. Nah, it doesn't. Trust me I know how it goes down and I struggled for a while myself to be firm and straightforward with him amd deflect the charm....quite the challenge! I do realise he can serve very little towards my emotional wellbeing and that was the catalyst for change. All people lie for many reasons... as a Libra gal myself, I would say I mostly tell white lies, and usually its because I don't want to throw someone under the bus, or because I'm trying to protect the person's (who I'm lying to) feelings... Sometimes bending the truth will spare a lot of pain.
Other times I lie because I don't want to look bad, or I am insecure about what people will think if I tell the truth.
Sometimes I lie because I just want to, and because I'm being selfish. "I fell asleep, thats why I didn't come out last night" for example...
Sometimes I lie when I just don't want to deal with something.
Honestly... Libras a lot of times just want what is convenient. If it's more convenient to lie, why not? If it's not hurting you... why not?
