Let’s talk about Spirituality

What is spirituality to you? Do you have any spiritual practices? How do you honor and nourish the spirit within you?

I feel like I am at a perfect age where I should become more spiritual. Many people close to my age became spiritually awakened, sometimes by divine intervention, but sometimes on their own accord.

Plus, I really need a break from men, love, sex and relationships. I am approaching eat, pray, love stage 🙏

It’s my birthday week and it’s perfect time to reflect on some things and go deep within.

No comprendo.

I think I am coming to a realization that I want my next union to be spiritual.

So maybe meet like a priest, minister, bishop, rabbi or whatever they are called in different denominations. Or meet a nice church guy.

But it’s also more than just that. I am going back to men because old habits are hard to break. It should be about self-discovery and my own journey. Maybe a trip to Jerusalem is what I need?

It’s okay. This concept of spirituality is not new to me. I have known about it for at least a decade, but I am still learning. It’s been on and off relationship with spirituality, for me personally.

Spirituality is about seeking a meaningful connection with something bigger than yourself, which can result in positive emotions, such as peace, awe and universal love.

You have to be really careful what you absorb and who you listen to.

I believe we are our own best teachers, at the end. Still might need a little help along the way.

I'm guilty of getting sucked in, not even just spirituality or religion, psychology too. You go to therapy and automatically assume the therapist knows better than you. 😬

And I see on your opening post you got eat on your list amongst many on your stage. I'm approaching eat too. Well actually I been approached that seem like all my life anyway. But was also heavily into women at the same time too. Nowadays I think I'm kinda ready for a lonely spiritual approach to be with my own inner thoughts and peace. I hope I know what I'm saying ready to be lonely. I think it's possible to be happy and lonely. I'm about ready to cut all ties with women now and try to go without them. Not out of bad terms I'm just ready to be women-less for a change. I shouldn't have to live the rest of my life hiding and turning the other way from people because they talk too much and especially shouldn't be hiding and running from women because I don't be in the mood for them most of the times. I'm definitely not using my Libra rising correctly by not balancing my life and being anti-social lol.

I grew up in a religious setting but not fire & brimstone like. I strayed away for 25 years after I left the house. I always wanted to explore other religions because I wanted what I believed not what someone told me to believe.

I started doing that the year I left my ex husband. That was 10 years ago. I believe in a higher power but I don’t name them. I believe in paths & journeys, and being guided. But I don’t practice any specific religion anymore. I do meditate at times, other times do things that help the practice of finding peace and balance. I feel in a far greater space than I was before. I learned from various sources .. the teacher shows up when ready sort of thing. I guess it’s kinda eat pray love thing.

Relationships and dating are a good distraction but personally what I needed was to heal & come out in a better place & I did. The distractions kept my life too busy & chaotic.

There’s no one way of being a witch, you can be whatever kind of witch you want to be ❤️

I recommend reading lots of books if you want to do spell work, there’s also some really good YouTube channels out there! I personally like Witch of Wanderlust on YT, I’ll link a random beginners video of hers below to watch if you’re interested 😊 I’m sure I watched a sex magick video on her channel not long ago if that’s what you’re into 😉

I’m a Celtic Pagan and practicing witch. My mum always had books about witchcraft, astrology, crystals, everything and I loved to read as a kid. Before I even knew what witchcraft was I was outside making “potions” out of pond water, leaves and dirt and stirred it with some stick I found and it… just kinda grew from there lol

How do I become a witch? I want to be a fairy kind who lives in the woods with long blonde hair, scantily dressed and she sings. We have that sort of a “witch” in local folktales. Very enchanting.

She seduces men into the forest by her lovely voice and sight. And I don’t know what happens to these men afterwards 💔

There’s no one way of being a witch, you can be whatever kind of witch you want to be ❤️

I recommend reading lots of books if you want to do spell work, there’s also some really good YouTube channels out there! I personally like Witch of Wanderlust on YT, I’ll link a random beginners video of hers below to watch if you’re interested 😊 I’m sure I watched a sex magick video on her channel not long ago if that’s what you’re into 😉

I believe it ☺️ I did a necklace that I wear on “I do not wish to be perceived” days, obvs I have bright pink hair and both Uranus & Neptune conjunct my ascendant, so I tend to be noticed. I stick out like a sore thumb in public lol. Sometimes I just wanna shop for groceries without being bothered by anyone, only worn it a out few times and so far so good lol

I don’t like dark energy because it can do harm to others. And I believe eventually that harm comes back and does 100x more damage to the person who does it.

But even if it didn’t come back, I still would not like it because it just sounds very vicious, vile and unpleasant. I’ve heard people having nightmares with demon after them and they couldn’t move or breathe. Very scary. Something is very wrong with people who like that sort of a thing.
