Rambunctious76... It is my opinion things are this way... I am sorry I don't have the time or need to explain and scientifically back up... the fact that everything degrades. Even our own sun will stop burning and is actually about 1/2 done with its life I would find no less beauty in it's energy if it was only done. Although the earth may not have life on it any more and I surely will be long dead be for it's demise.

my cells are dying, my metabolism has slowed, tired is my best friend, and the pressures of marriage and starting a family is weighting heavily.

what age scared you?

I've cried the night before every birthday from the age of 21 lol

It was down hill from there for me in my eyes anyway

Lol every age is the same. Well, people have different meanings based on their experiences but it's all the same, you don't see time pass by and it gets worse as u get older. Im 38 and i feel 21. Times stops at one point in your life. Ever notice how adults manage to keep the same fashion year all their life? Somehow they manage to find new clothes from that ancient year LOL...
Well i stopped in the 90's, the way i perceive music, and clothes, and amusement, will remain for the rest of my life. I will always feel 21.

27 was depressing but was also turning point. Decided I was too old to let my social phobia and manic depressive episodes control my life. Pretty much within a couple weeks I learned to manage and pull myself out of an episode had I forgotten to take my meds.

When you get to 50 that's only half the human lifespan. Keep telling yourself that.

Life is what you make it. If your feeling pain and suffering then you've accepted pain and suffering as a part of life. Don't accept the negative things, and don't accept death. Your mind is a powerful organ and can heal your body from almost anything life can throw at you. Don't let life mentally destroy your natural healing power.

No matter how old you get or what you might develop over time, it's never the end until you've accepted the end in your mind. One day the end will come, but by then you will be ready to accept it's embrace but don't look at it as a bad thing. Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end. That's a line from a song called Closing Time. I believe life and death, youth and old age all have somthing in common that bind them all together and make them similar yet different. I truly feel It will all make sense one day.

Oh Soul. You remind me of a burning candle in a dark, warm room. Weird Pisces moon moment.

The sentiment is fleeting though... I don't think life has that much meaning. We're born, we fuck shit up, and then we die. All this other stuff in between is fluff.

Well if it's all for nothing it isn't like we cared much befor we existed. Like my Sag boss says, "When I'm dead it won't matter what happens anymore, because I'm dead!"

But i feel we are too significant for it all to be for nothing. We come equip with vivid dreams and huge imaginations. We can take those dreams and imagination then turn them into a reality with our hands and creativity. Just like nature can naturally paint a landscape for all life to see. We can priceve reality and know all the things around us though we are grains of sand compared to an ocean. To me that's impressive.

I know you also mentioned humans just fuck things up which is true, but so does all things existing within reality. The whole universe is just a beautiful disaster. That truly is life though. This is why death should be embraced when you've learned everything life has to ofder. Don't wish for it or make things worse for the others things living around you, but upon death you no longer need to destroy other life to survive. You no longer have to consume life to keep your own light alive.

With that aside though life is still a beautiful thing. To break beyond the realm of darkness just to express a vivid light. But that's the way it has to be for reality to exist in the first place. For something to exist darkness first has to exist, and with darkness comes light to defy it.
