I watched part of the first show and I don't remember it being this crazy. Were the other one's even close to this one?
hmm well, it is crossing some lines for some people. it's all i heard being talked about for three days after it aired. Which is exactly what they wanted. I mean it has Lady Gaga lol
I didn't watch the first season. i watched the last half of Asylum and that was pretty weird. Coven was my absolute favorite! Freakshow was pretty grusome and twisted!

I agree this season is very twisted, but you can't expect any less with Lady Gaga in it. lol
I felt a creepy sort of familiarity while watching my astro twin, especially during the 4some scene lol.

Coven is the best imo.. but i didnt see the 1st season.
Season 1 and 2 were pretty great.
Hated Coven and Freak show.
This one idk yet. It will probably fall apart like the last 2.

Same. Coven and Freak Show dragged. I love Gaga and all buuut eh we'll see.
I like it cause of wican and stuff.. One of my favorite moves is The Craft. even if it's retarded hollywood blowout stuff.

I stopped watching them in order yesterday and just watched a season 2 one where he's Immortal.
By the end of the episode Ritchie wants to take on the bad guy Immortal in a 2-on-1 and McCleod and the other dude just dismiss him.
McCleod:"Not now Ritchie"
Bad guy:"Yeah Ritchie, run along and play"
Why did they bother writing this guy into the show?

And i love the snide remarks and witty banter and back stabbing but it just gets old and predictable.
I loved asylum, being locked up and declared crazy when you're sane is my biggest fear.

i binge watched Asylum and Coven recently. I enjoyed Asylum over coven. Coven's ending was sooooooo boring *yawn !!!!! I enjoyed Asylum's ending better, it was pretty badass. More dark than coven. Blame my lilith and pluto in scorpio for my freaky dark side *evil laugh hahaa . LOL. But anyways i haven't binge watched season 1 yet. I enjoyed freakshow, but missed some episodes in the middle. But i did catch the end it was a good ending. Im excited for AHS hotel. and i loved how in the the first episode they played the song : hotel california by The Eagles. I was jammin' like awwwww yeahhhhh hahaa. One of my fav scenes from the 1st episode.

Better than the last season so far. I don't think they will ever top the first two seasons though.
The show is pretty twisted. I watched ALL of season 1, then season 2 creeped me out. I thought I'd give this season a try, but that anal drilling...IDK, some things shouldn't be "entertaining". The whole point of TV is to occupy time and imagine or get away in/from your mind.
Who wants to be entertained by watching a graphic anal drilling? Let that sink in for a minute.

Actually Coven season is based on the life of a New Orleans founder. New Orleans was founded by deviants and was a deviant refuge...that was the purpose of people going there. When I went to NOLA earlier this year, I got the whole low down on that particular founder. She actually did some of the things that was featured in AHS Coven. I never watched that season. After hearing the real life account, it made me want to watch it less.

I do agree the drilling bit was a bit over the top and graphic, but remember in season one a female lead ended up getting pregnant by a guy in a rubber suit who rapped her? Still as fucked, just in a more subtle way. Sometimes I think they try to hard and come off more sick than creepy.
Nothing will ever come close to the first season.
This one seems the shittiest so far but I'm trying to give it a chance

Yea after seeing that episode, I went back read about that woman. She really did lock up slaves in her attic and torture them. She had them taken away from her. I was like wow. Season 3 was entertaining enough to me. I liked the whole coming of age witch story line and I love Stevie nicks too.
Freakshow was very meh. I had to force my way thru to the end and the end was wack. It's cool that you don't have to watch the seasons in any particular order.

Last night's episode was so graphic. When Sally scared that little kid and her teeth started falling out,I almost changed the channel. It's kind of depressing. And that serial killer guy was so over the top. Why are the episodes so long? 1:45 hrs last night.

shit the show starts with a blurb about it being rated graphic, mature language etc, etc blurb. actually i think that comes on after every commerical if i recall correctly. I was wondering the same thing Ram.. about the time slots etc.
It is NOT for kids.
They is always a possibility that children could watch it. *shrugs* you just never know what kids can get into. You can put censors and locks on things and stuff will still find a way.
I think people just get offended themselves, but who better to advocate for, impressionable children or adults that are disgusted?
