TMV - Do you currently exercise and try to eat healthy-ish? LOL>

Yes ma'am. Under typical circumstances I'm a bit of a health food junkie and use a combination of yoga and boxing to stay somewhat in shape. I just haven't been pushing myself very hard for a while now and I'm paying for it in fluff.

Well we are going to push each other. Those pounds are going to melt off you!!! I am excited. Although, I was not excited when I was doing abs this morning. Lol.

I'm working at it. Started a food diary type thing to help me keep track of what I'm eating, calorie, fat, carb, protein intake, and hopefully keep me out of the sugar. Picked out an exercise plan to start building muscle with but I'm pretty much starting from ground zero so it's going to take some time to warm up.

Here's a sample of what I've got so far:

03/02
1569 calories, no work out on the Sabbath

03/03
1566 calories, 30 min. of kickboxing
approx. calories burned - 200

03/04
1683 calories, 40 min. of yoga
approx. calories burned - 150

03/05
1780 approx. calories, no "official" work out
approx. calories burned is unknown

I'm hitting my legs hard today.

I usually warm up on the treadmill 1-2 miles @ 6 mph.

Squats:
95 - 20 x 2
115 - 15 x 3
135 - 12-x 2

Straight leg dead lift:
95 - 15 x 4

Leg Press:
180 - 15 x 4

Reverse lunges:
20lb dumb bells - 20 x 3

Cable kickbacks:
15 - 15 x 4

If I have any sensation on my legs left, sumo squats with an empty bar.

Stretch then easy spin on the bike.

Goddamn haha

Most women wouldn't do that much effort let alone anything that it involves weights.

But, I know your glad you do it ^.

Just finished:
5 mile run
Weighted Squats
Weighted Lunges
Leg Presses
Weighted Donkey Kicks
Dead Lifts
And tons of ab work - varied planks, crunches on the floor and with medicine ball, etc.

What I have eaten so far:
I started off with a fasted cardio (5 mile run)
Drank a protein shake after my run but before my weights
Breakfast: 2 egg whites, 2 slices of turkey bacon, 1 cup saut?ed spinach
Snack: Handful of almonds, 2 cuties, string cheese

That's me so far today.

WHERE YOU AT!!?!??

Damn..—

Dxp is the twilight zone compared to where I live. You'd be lucky to see a women touch a dumbell much less a barbell! And lifting anything over 10lbs... yeah right maybe in your dreams.

I used to be one of those girls, too. The Cardio Queens. I had some help though. I had a trainer for a year who eased me into it. It's fascinating how your body weight can go up a couple of pounds but your body fat will drop a couple of points or so. I got a taste of how heavier weights can shift your body shape and that was all she wrote.

Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you!

You too naturel25!

LOL poisson I'd be moderately embarrassed to compare my legs with yours. I need to get back to the gym. ~_~

School and this damn internship are owning my life right now.

I have always been pretty fit however about errm between the years of 2005 - 2009 I got very lax with gym and pretty much stopped all together due to studying engineering (kind of a cop out reason but I swear I spent my every waking moment studying that shit ^.^)

Then about 3.5-4 years ago I got fed up with it and dragged my ass to the gym with my brother and dropped about 60 lbs inside 3 months or so. You could say I was determined T.T

Anyways, I told myself I wouldn't let that happen again BUT and here I am month in a half no gym...

I'm going tonight! Thanks girls for the inspiration!

LOL

It's not the twilight zone NYAA. I lift weights too. Only way to tone and define your muscles.. all the cardio in the world won't help with that. I do 200+ with a sled too, that does a number on my knee however so we have had to pull back to 45lb weightssx3 plus the weight of the sled.

Well in DXP world I guess this is normal..

Anyways, I just got back from gym. I made myself do my legs >.

My ass, hamstrings and calves hurt.

If anyone is interesting in toning up some legs and adding some mass on her derriere, this link has some really good tips.

you so remind me of a pisces colleague/co worker in the past. She was always trying to get me to go with her to work out rigourously. I'm guessing she had a strong Martian energy in her chart too. lol
She was the work-out queen! 😄

MissFisk - You are a beast with your leg regimen!!! Seeeeesh??_.

I have been gone because I was on my spring break. However, I continued to work out. I did hot vinyasa yoga three times, cardio six days last week, and alternated upper and lower body work outs.

I weighed myself this morning and I have lost four pounds since last Saturday. I will try to post a pic I took last night at a cocktail party I attended.

I'll also start taking gym pics.

Hawaii in eight day!!!

Soooo??_. It's the beginning of the week. Set a goal for yourself! Where are you at—? 🙂
