My people usually do what I say.
They really just want you to listen.
However, their are the emotional vampires. I've experienced them. But, they usually imploded on themselves as my harmony is not shaken by thier disharmony. 'Cause I'll listen all day but, at the end of the day, it's your life to ruin.
You can talk all day about your cheating or abusive husband that you wuv so much. But, when you're done, I'll be like "okay dear, I'm heading to the water park."
You need other opinions that conflict your own in order to make the right decision.
Other people's advice is never dismissed, it will be there, helping you to understand your situation more.
I don't see it as a bad thing.

You can't make someone do something because you say it's "good".

I only give advice to those who want it from me (dxp not included)
But i agree with the fact you stated- whats good for me is not good for everyone
