Dating!

I've only been dating and wasting other peoples time for like a year now. I don't know how you guys have done this long term. I'm getting tired of meeting new people that I don't like or vibe with. Seems like I get half and half. People I like but they don't know what they're doing either and it's like 2 ships passing in the night, then people that are just after me for some quick sex and pretend to call it a date (That never gets far)

No not really. I don’t think I would mind it now, if I met the right guy. But I still want to find potential at least. All I seem to meet are great guys not close to me. 😩😩😭😭😭😥

How are you meeting these people? Speed dating is good for establishing if you have chemistry IRL.

I meet them in person. Speed dating is like false advertising to me. I can’t see through to the real person unless I spend more time with you.

As for dating. I hate it if I never met someone before. Much rather meet someone randomly, connect and then go on a date. That way I know there is a connection then talking to someone online and then when you actually go on a date there is no chemistry.

Yeah I'm the same. I don't need a man to spend money on me when on the first date. I need top actually see if I even like him first! And how much fun we will have, just the 2 of us. When things are free, it takes the pressure off a lot of men.

As long as you're not trying to date me and order a side salad to my meal, we are good! 😆

I was doing online dating because i live in a small area that is hard to find guys in that right age range. It’s either college students or retirees! I found the right age but ughhhhhh not much to choose from and the ones I found and had relationships with have WAY too much baggage. So I’m over it.. I’m sticking to in person though. Hoping I find new people in new circles with my new job which is more professional environment.. otherwise I may just have to move to a city!! Where there are more people.

It’s so frustrating seriously. Hard because this area doesn’t have very many good jobs and I really don’t want to support someone. So choices are limited.

I haven't tried online dating yet, cause it's too quick for me. All the guys want is sex. I hate it.

Yeah dating is a crap shoot tbf.

Tinder and online dating portals have really devolved into a disaster. I see a lot of baby mommas on there these days, as well as chicks with tattoos all over their arms and generally speaking, some really unattractive women. The concept of meeting a chick online who is both wholesome and wife-material seems to be a lost cause. I feel alone because I am looking for a diamond among tons and tons of coal.

I can't tell you how many times I see some hot chick online, and then see all of these ugly tattoos all over her. It's so disgusting and represents a total antithesis to what femininity truly is.

I really hate seeing chicks with fish-hooks in their lips and eyebrows too. I am like, pull that shit out of your face, dummy.

No oh my gosh I feel your pain. I can’t stand dating. I decided to say to heck with it and really try. I’ve dated five guys in the last few months. I lost track of how many guys are talking to me now so I’m pretty much ignoring them all. I’m sick of it. Two that disappeared on me are trying to talk to me again but I know they don’t want an actual relationship, I’m ready to take a hiatus, lol.

I miss having s relationship. That’s all I want. Stability and the feeling of real happiness being with someone else and knowing they feel exactly the same.

Yeah it's so weird trying to get to know new people. It's like a game of give up, then try again. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Wasting everyone's time cause I always answer all the texts I receive lol

I gave up.

I met a couple guys in person (no date) just to see if we click etc before even taking it further...either they turned out to be sex offenders, had serious anger issues, extreme baggage or just wanted sex. Although, I did let one guy take me out on an actual date...not sure why him and no one else 🤷. I had a good time etc but if I had to keep doing the dating thing....I'd either get bored or exhausted. So fuck it...me, myself and I it is.
