Their problem is they are too preoccupied with what their idea of a perfect relationship/life is that they fail to see said relationship/life for what it's really like. They put more pressure on themselves and their partner that way. Stupid idiots.

I can live with one person forever just fine, but I'm not wearing rose-tinted glasses when I look at him.

yeah the jocks who were so cool in high school and college are the alcoholics today - still living the dream - in their minds

they never went anywhere after school but they were so pumped up about going on to make it big that they just lost their way when it didn't happen

they couldn't handle it so they fell into the bottle and stayed there

Play the game, and make it work for you. To fight against the negatives of what we see, is like one fighting against the tide.

Plebeians, will always remain so. Let them be, and use that to your advantage. If you know what they are, then they become predictable. Therefore easier to handle / manipulate to your own benefit.
