I'm doing Europe again for 3 weeks in the fall but after that I will be looking at Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and up and coming Indonesia for the next trip. Planning and mapping out the logistics is half the fun.click to expand

She was never based in America no. I wouldn't have done long distance like that personally. We're going through a brief long distance spell right now but at first we had immediate ways to meet up and I'm glad we took it.
The advice here is kind of luck of the draw for first timers. I think there's an element to all advice that is inherently bad, which makes me unforgiveable because I felt the need to dole out so much before.
The only thing I've seen this site struggle with is all the stereotypes about gender and sex.
