@sssupes just out of curiosity, do you perceive someone asking you if you own a confederate flag as racist ?People fly them here, and I've been to TX countless times, and see many of them there as well. Those people are not necessarily racist, I view it more as a southern pride thing rather than a race thing. Confederate flag doesn't stand solely stand for racism, for many people. I'm sure it does for some, but not all.

I don't think @scorpioboar was calling you racist. That's just her blunt personality and you taking what she said out of context.
Maybe she was and maybe she wasn't. Asking someone if they are a redneck and fly a confederate flag on their house is pretty bold. More bold than I'm used to. I don't and I don't like the question and I made the assumption that she was getting at something.

3 DXPers so far.Very nearly 4 but one day they couldn't make it, next day I couldn't and they had to leave town.
I know who's top of the meetup leaderboard though and no one else is even close.

I did that once....even chronicled the travels on a thread with my travel buddy...and eventually we were called liars and that I made up the whole thing.
That's why I can't have nice things on here. I personally don't mind sharing but I won't put anyone else thru that....especially without their consent.
People can seriously be so bizarre on this site sometimes. I personally think it would be really interesting/cool to see such a thread.

We put it up a few months before we went (we went to Paris)....people gave us suggestions on what to do and what to eat.
We practiced our french 😛
It was a fun build up because we didn't even meet each other in real life before the day of our flight....so it was like an exciting countdown. We kept it off the main boards to not be annoying and to keep trolls away....that worked.. it wasn't until after the trip that people started getting stupid.
While we were there we took turns uploading photos every night after our adventures.
It was completely platonic....and people twisted that all in knots too.
