I assume they don't remember my name. But I usually don't remember theirs either so it all works out.

I was being sarcastic. I think the real issue is how angry should a person get if someone forgets your name. I dont know if that is a big deal, unless the person has been trying to romantically engage you for a year. But if you dont talk often or are barely friends, it's sort of presumptuous to get mad at someone for not knowing how important you are or something. It depends on context

Yeah you didn't speak to the person for couple of days and you start conversation like "hey you" do you like it? There's nothing worse than that, you can say Hi, or hey there or anything, even ignore whole greeting stuff and just respond the god damn question has been asked. Don't pretend you forgot my name and don't make me feel that I'm just a stranger you meet everyday at the grocery store. Yes people are dumb as hell, not raised properly, no manners smh
