Do you feel like nothing's really happening with your body at all despite months or even years of working out regularly in the gym?

I actually take pictures to monitor my progress... although I like what I'm seeing in the mirrors, I just can't seem to be satisfied with the photographic representations of my body... My cam also seems to be unable to capture any conspicuous progress... and that it seems that I'm slowing down with my goals...

I use Samsung xs and has had it since February 9, this year... I take pictures once in a while. I feel like there's nothing much of a progress between February and today.

Earlier, I feel like giving up like literally I just want to work out to have a decent appearance and not to have that body to die for I initially wanted to have...

But I looked at pics of Jason Derulo and Nick Jonas... they have sizzling sexy bodies in videos but it seems that pictures do not give them justice.

Even my coaches who are super gorgeous can't have decent pics despite years of training... I wonder why... I'm actually having this desire to sell my Samsung XS in exchange for a cellphone with better camera. 😢

^^Are you working out?

I'm on a high-protein, high-carb diet since last week.

Before last week, I was on high-protein, low-carb diet.

I stumbled upon an article last weekend saying carbs is important if one's building muscles.

Yes but I’m not trying to get cut. Trying to regain strength I’ve lost since my accident. Different objective.

Your best bet is to find a trainer to help you stay on track with nutrition and workouts. Could be you’ve hit a plateau and need to change it up and confuse your body to see more results.

I actually see visible results but I'm not satisfied with the photographic representations... also, physical changes seem to be downplayed by my camera although they are very visible by sight.

I'm not sure if it's really the camera's fault or it might be that I'm doing something wrong either in my diet or in my workout.

Diet = not enough carbs

Workout = plateau? I have a different set of exercises per session so how could this be possible?

Camera = possible. Things always look smaller and thinner in photographs. Ugggh... It's killing me.

Answer/s would be diet and/or camera.

^^ I really think the problem's in the diet. I don't eat carbs after 6 pm anymore, even after work out.

As a result, I lost my stomach... but muscle progress was kept at a minimum or nothing at all.

Dude it’s 100% your diet. Just from reading the high protein low carb sounds like Keto to me and getting muscle mass on that style of food options is not easy. In fact it’s extremely hard.

When I first started getting into working out as a teenager, I ate literally well over 5 scoops of cooked rice per sitting more than 3 times a day with a huge amount of protein and vegetables. The rice was literally what did it but I was also significantly much more active as a teen than now. I did a lot of Olympic lifting and cycling for hours growing up

I changed my diet a bit. Ate more carbs even after 6 pm. Result is? My stomach grew large... Now I miss my abs lol
