to admit you're homophobic, racist, misogynist or misandrist (man-hater)? That you don't like gay people, men, women or people from a certain ethnic background?

I've noticed all those traits on different DXPers over time; some more obvious than others, but I don't recall anyone ever blatantly admitting it & saying "yeah I don't like 'this', that's just who I am - deal with it". Is your virtual reputation really that important to you?

Ironically, last year I was accused by an idiotic Scorpio of being racist lol, just because I said I'm not attracted to dark skin. It was a riot. It's a sexual inclination that can't be helped no more than my love for sausage can, has nothing to do with how I view people who have dark skin or dark-skinned ethnicities.

Emhendo herself also accused me of being homophobic when I feigned shock at a sex story of hers. I guess she mistook me for Terramine. How can you love dick and be a homophobe at the same time? But I digress.

So, how many of you tough guys & gals have the testicular fortitude to be your 100% selves here?

i'm a bit racist on the inside the same way i can get astro signist but i don't let it affect my interaction with other people... probably coz it's pretty low level...it's a quiet prejudice that goes away when i'm proven wrong and grows a little more when certain expectations are proven right.. like most things with me, it doesn't go for outward hostility.. but just makes me more cautious...

prejudice itself is irrational and baseless by definition yet we all have them on some level... the way we have impressions about other people we barely know anything about...is 'informed prejudice' a better term when you've got actual experiences to back you up? yet i don't always have that

I'm a bit prejudiced towards certain religions that overly control their subjects with the most retarded rules, like Islam or Hinduism, but I think that just goes completely against my Aries stellium - I'm a leader, not a follower. I don't do "rules". Definitely not stupid rules by imaginary gods. Anyone with half a brain would realize that the so-called holy books are translations of translations of translations. By this time there isn't a single original word left from the time of their creation. Not to mention the liberties some translators take.

This also includes cultures that do the same thing. So I don't get involved in those people's lives. It's a nightmare for me to deal with that. Their life style is utterly against my nature.

A Sag acquaintance of mine many many years ago admitted to having downloaded a video where a 1yo toddler was being molested.....and my stomach is turning again and it's not the flu. I would have reported him but he said he destroyed the hard drive by leaving it in water for several days.

Ironic thing is a couple years ago I found out from a mutual friend of ours he went to jail for possession & distribution of child pornography.

That one would be the mild version of that ring. There was also a (Russian I believe) paedo ring that tortured and killed children on cam for the right price. Beyond depraved. I can't even wrap my head around how a human being could stoop so low as to commit such atrocities.

But the standard sex stuff..........I still can't imagine how anyone would be interested in doing all that to such a little person. But the unfortunate fact is that different people are into different things. I met a total cutie last year but was thoroughly disgusted to learn that he was 99% into old people. Like 60+. He was in his mid 20s.

So once you acknowledge that explanation, it makes all the sense in the world. But it doesn't make it any less sickening.

I always try to treat people with respect both online and in real life because that's just my nature. In a way, it bothers me personally if I had a fight EVEN with a stranger because I take most things to heart. I mean I'm sensitive like that so feel free to call me a wimp 😂

Believe it or not, I'm the same. I don't enjoy mistreating people. I only treat people the way they treat others or the way they deserve to be treated. If I wrong someone who didn't deserve it, I do apologize.

I even apologized to CC a while back when I used her as an example for really fucked up behavior, but I didn't actually mean it that way. I intended it to come out as a meme, silly stuff. But someone pointed out it was somewhat offensive and I apologized to her directly.

I am sure I have prejudice in my views on many levels, with regards to all these categories....I think most people do even if they are still undiscovered or just passively absorbed from the culture and institutions we're embedded in...I'm even prejudiced and prone towards stereotyping my own ethnicity.

dxp is pretty much astro-bigotry all day erryday...I have learned alot about my own bigotry here though - particularly around women's issues. There are some very bright and vocal feminists here who have definitely made me take a second look at some of my beliefs and behavior....

lol 5k is significant when the project is 15-20k overall.

Actually, I grew-up around homophobes and racists - so for most of my life i needed bigger balls to be the odd-out (to go against the norm and voice my own beliefs on this subject). Shortly put: i was raised/indoctrinated this way (as demanded by the local religion), but since i was the kind to question things and their answer didn't make enough sense - i never managed to fit in as well as the rest. Nor did i wanted to. I do have a problem - with religious people who try to force their beliefs upon others (myself included). And if all gays would be the same (forcing their beliefs on me) - i'd have a problem with them as well. 😛
