How do you manage to keep your spirits up and positive energy around you?

Do you meditate, exercise, listen to music etc. etc.? Do share your routines or your daily motivational piece.



In addition:

- What sort of music do you lot listen to, to achieve this aim?

- Any specific activities you would do mentally, to keep the negative thoughts at bay?

i looked outside my window and i saw a graffiti penis on the next building. then i realize there's probably one just like it on mine as well.

Hello there Rumi, you are quite right.

It is easy to be but positive but to maintain it, is but an entirely different story for many struggle with it.

There is a lot of beauty in the world and many things to be thankful for, to appreciate. 🙂

I'm trying to force myself to log something in a journal every day. it's something that really helps me keep perspective when I am force to find the words to say things out loud.

Nature, just feeling the wind on my skin as it brushes through the trees is enough to improve my mood.

Eating super clean. I drink spearmint tea every day, and it's a mood elevator kind of like St. Johns Wart but not as hard on your system.

If I'm in a really bad funk, I find putting on an Alan Watts youtube video helps a lot. Even if it's just background subconscious. It really helps my perspective, reminds me all of this is trivial.

Without noticing it i listen to a lot of melon collie type songs, and people will point it out... Why you listening to this sad ass shit Robyn? "its sad and happy at the same time, it's beautiful cus its how the universe is. nothings ever all good or all bad it's all one thing. Now leave me alone"

I surround myself with positive people. Negativity from others really affects my mood. If your too negative I'll start to disappear. It'll be so gradual that you'll barely notice.

I have a friend who is always bitching. She went on a month long euro trip that her parents paid for (she's in her 30s •) and I met her for drinks when she got back. She spent the entire time hating on Belgium, Spain, etc. Had nothing positive to say...
You would've thought someone kidnapped her the way she was talking.

Let me put it this way, when I have free time she's not the first person I call.

I have been fairly lucky in that I am naturally a positive person. But when i do get in a funk, it tends to not last long.

I read, listen to music, go out and enjoy nature. i do things to "reset" or get my balance back. Cleaning around the house helps too! I listen to all generes of music but what calms me most is classical or instrumental. I have to be careful as some can do the opposite and bring me down. 😆

Obviously, you're not alone. Most of you are negatively charged and have to work at being a good person.

don't confuse my mirroring negative energy, as my natural state of being .... every person who gotten a positive response from me, came here with a positive thread.


At any rate, you wouldn't know that .... you're still refusing to believe your breath stinks, and insisting it was the tool at the dentist. So, you're pretty oblivious to any kind of reality. It's probably why the Virgo tossed you to the curb .... a person can only stand stench for so long.
