Something really went terribly wrong with the human race.

A small dolphin has died at the resort Santa Teresita after beach go-ers removed it from the water to pet and pose for photographs with it.

The images showing dozens of people swarming the tiny dolphin were uploaded onto social media last week.

In an online statement, Vida Silvestre Foundation confirmed the dolphin had died and said it was most likely killed by dehydration. Dolphins have a thick layer of greasy skin and fat designed to insulate them in cool waters. However, on a hot Argentinian beach, they can easily overheat and dehydrate.

It’s believed the dolphin was a Franciscana (also known as a Plata dolphin), roughly around 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) long. This species is often found in the Atlantic waters to the east of South America and is one of the world’s smallest dolphins. To add further insult to injury, it’s also one of South America’s rarer dolphins – listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as a “vulnerable” species.

Meh.

Unfortunate for sure.

People are enamored with dolphins.

They were probably just curious, and excited, and if they had to do it all over again, would make sure it didn't die.

Probably not malicious.

What does a minority of unconscious people from the beaches of Argentina - have to do with the human race - as a whole? Not the only unconscious people - i'm know, but still... that's just one side of the fence.

They didn't kill it, so fair game.

Most ppl don't ever get to see a dolphin, even less touch or pet one. Seems more like fascination than pure, concentrated evil.

I disagree I think it's a collective evil of our species. We have such little connection to nature how the fuck could we respect it.

Well we're not supernatural gods. We are that nature aswell. Every species destroys to the best of their abilities, 'the thinking animal' just happens to be doing shit on a grander scale. That goes for destroying AND creating.

But yeah I agree, misantrophy feels good.

Name one other animal that destroys its environment...
There is only one other animal that goes to war as well and that is ants.
If a species of animal were to destroy its environment then it would make itself extinct
Humans are pretty unique and not necessarily for good reasons.

Again;

Every species destroys to the best of their abilities, 'the thinking animal' just happens to be doing shit on a grander scale.

The only being that could (by this logic) possibly deserve our contempt is God, if there was one. So why this need to put humanity on a pedestal, like we've degenerated from some higher potential or purpose when we are part of the nature you hold in such high regard.. with its beauty and its ugliness.

Destruction is creativity is destruction. Same difference, as we also overlook our unique ability to emphatize with other beings. The sun will burn out eventually you know, who will you blame that on?

Is that bitch taking her bottoms off ready to fucking ride its dorsal fin like dick...

it looks like it

It looks like she was trying to get it to shoot water from its blow hole onto her clit.

Fucking skank.

What? You're seeing all this in that pic? That's quite the vivid imagination. As quoted by Bill Murray in Stripes, "I want to party with you guys".

Why else would she be straddling it and have a hand on her crotch?

Maybe the idle rich really don't give a fck.

But I can't believe that not one person with

his wits about him made them stop and

put him back.

Ugh

They're really strict about that here in Florida...people will drop a dime on you if you are caught "molesting or abusing " alligators, the dolphins, or manatees. They will hunt you down on social media (as with the photos above) and fuck up your life. Petting them even if they are in the wild and not at the aquarium or sanctuary.

That little guy would of been rescued here. Poor little thing. People are such idiots

Why would anyone molest an Alligator? They're pretty sacred to me.

I mean seriously. They molested a reptile and like had disgusting intercourse in the cloaca which is where most reptiles and birds do all their business. Its like an anus, vagina, and piss hole all in one and that's just fucking disgusting. And besides how would they even keep a hold without getting death rolled and roughed up by scales?

You could always force feed it narcotics. You'd probably invent a new std, but then again you could just kill it's baby and use its intestines as a condom.

Great thread op!
