Haha!! Ok fine I'm 53. Everyone thinks I'm at least ten years younger when I meet them. Age is always a weird subject lol. I feel much younger!!!! ?

Same for me. I am 34. People think I am 10 years younger. I went to my grandfather's funeral last week and met my mom's best friend. Her friend said she thought I was her daughter's age (mid 20s).

One summer, about 3 years ago, I volunteered at a bike shop, so I dressed up in a hoodie and ugly baggy pants (tearing bikes apart and building them = dirty mess!); a guy that also volunteered there asked what high school I went to and the year I graduated, he was surprised. I think my outfit just made me look like a teenager. I don't have wrinkles, but neither does my mom and she'll be 55 yrs old this year.

Same with being mistaken for younger when people see/meet me.

It's often men close to my age who are attracted to me, but at first they think I'm younger, so they assume they're approaching a younger woman, lol. One of them had the funniest look on his face when I told him that I thought that we were the same age -- like I must be crazy. But I was right, he was only 3 months older than me. lol

Lol! Same for me. Happens much more at this age, but then again I didn't divorce til I was 48. So maybe some age better than others? I seem to be dating guys in their mid to late 40's. They tend to forget my age & think they are older than me!!! Lol

haha. 🙂 Yes, if you were single before that I bet it would be the same with you being mistaken for younger. I've had that happen too with the person I'm dating forgetting we're similar in age, so they'll at first assume I might not know about something they're referencing from their child or teenhood, and things of that sort. lol

Well guys who are older than me think I'm younger, and then get all excited that they might have a chance with me lol. It is so funny! The 40's guys just think I'm younger than them or their age but then are pretty vocal about insisting we are the same age when they find out my age or the subject comes up. Current one is 6 years younger and he always insists we are the same age! Lol. Then says age does NOT matter. So funny. I think I have more in common with 40's age range then 50's somehow.., music is the same & since I had kids in my 30's we are more in line there too. So much for guys don't like older women!!! ?

haha, that's great! 🙂 I think it's both looks and attitude (non jaded, for example) that make the difference. Do you think so too?
