Don't remind me of what was said in the past about cats. That was about my trifling ex-roommate and her lack of ability to clean up behind a cat which left me scarred at the thought of owning one.

This is my FIRST, and possibly my last time having companionship with a feline.

About 3 weeks ago, I was walking my girlfriend to her car outside my apartment. Suddenly, we heard little meows in the distance.. And some random little but also BIG black cat crossed my path! Striking black fur and youthful healthy looks, muscular body.

At first he freaked me out. At first I assumed he was a lady cat.. I asked my girl did she want the cat, she says "he isn't too old for me". Made me think... He isn't too old for me either.

She rides off for the night. Its just me and the cat outside...

I let him follow me inside and he was INSTANTLY very thankful. He hung out on the couch with me, I blew weed smoke in his face to see if he likes the smell or sensation of being high.. (He doesn't like weed. Everytime I spark it, he moves)

I originally kept the cat to surpise my girlfriend with him, but when she came back the next night, she insisted that I keep him instead.

She says... "I don't know, I never seen a cat so comfortable. It wouldn't feel right to take him from you."

Overnight I got attached, and here we are...

I named him Boseman. Aka Boss Mane. Aka Boss

I haven't taken him to the vet yet. I found out he's a Bombay. A classic breed.

I let him outdoors at least once a day. I put him in the room for a nap once a day. I do this because he was a stray, and he's not nuetered. I am trying to relieve any anxiety being in an apartment might bring him.

But today, I couldn't find him and the day before - he got locked inside my building's basement behind the landlord visiting... I had to break the window down to get him out. He was at the window locked inside just crying for me. I knew it wasn't like him to not respond to my calls.. I'll be damned, he was locked in the basement.

Today I let him out again and I came back on my backporch about 30 mins later to call for him. He was no where in sight.. I had to leave to meet my girl for her car problems.. Hell, I left him outside.

I thought he was gonna be missing and I'll just see him later this week.. Whatever. He always fight me to go back inside anyway, he get a real nasty attitude. A true 'hissy' fit ..

..Besides, he pissed in my closet this morning on my PS4 box TWICE.. I tried to spare the box, but he came back later on after I cleaned and pissed all in there again. I had to throw it out and I needed the box just incase I wanna sell it.. Fuck.

Then he knocked down my soundbar while I was napping and put his paws all over my mounted TV by climbing onto the speakers trynna chase the Samsung sleeping logo around the screen.

Then he MEOOWS and YOWLS for most of the day and all night for no fuckin reason.

I haven't got much sleep unless he is asleep too. I try to see what he wants, but he wants nothing and he does this as he walks around the house. I just found out last week he's about 6-8months old. We can all tell that he is a baby and my neighbor confirmed his infancy even if he does look full grown.. He has still has room to grow.

I came back at 9:30 tonight and what do you know?

The cat know where home is. He was by my door waiting for me on my neighbors upper deck, eager to get inside..

I sometimes feel selfish keeping this cat. Should I let him go free or HAS HE IMPRINTED ON ME?

He loves you.

Wash his paws often so he doesn't spread disease and make your skeleton shrink.

Take him to a pet groomer or wash him.

Cats are great pets but they're filthy. They bat their poop around in their litter box and then walk everywhere with their doodoo paws. Keep them clean and this won't be so much of an issue.

People aren't allergic to cats because of their fur or dander, by the way. It's the pee and poop residue that they carry around that makes people itch, sneeze and cough.

Oh yeah. I peeped this the first day and I have a bucket with soapy water a rag on deck I clean his paws a few times a day. He use to hate it and hiss at me but now he lets it happen, I gave him treats when he let me do it yesterday without fuss.
