Ugh. Nair. Does that stuff still stink to high heaven? Depilatories never worked on my coarse hair, though I've heard they've made great strides compared to what they used to be.

Personally, I've tried to remove as many unnecessary chemicals from my regime as possible, as I've gotten older. Better for the body and what's left of the fresh water, we're constantly abusing.

Ha. Which brings me to the period stuff. Have you heard of sea sponge tampons? No chemicals and sustainably harvested. They last a really long time and you can have sex while wearing one. Once you get the hang of putting em in and taking em out, it's easy peasy. Never had a leak. No smell. Big fan.
Not sure I'd want to bump a sea sponge though. That's rough.

Or is that a loofa I'm thinking of?

This thread would get 10000000 likes on the Taurus board
hold up there BoomBoom, yer Shakalakadaka is out of whack - Taurus woman are natural and all homey and all but we do take care of ourselves and like to look good - so I don't think so - but hey, maybe that is just me ... I'll be continuing to shave since my men have always been amazed at my smooth soft skin ...

Ha. Or I should say, that's the plan anyway. Just gave up the underarms so haven't grown out enough to warrant a trim yet, but doing the pubes that way for a while now. He prefers it that way and so do I.

As for the underarms, deodorants have always broken me out. Pretty sure it's because I'm constantly irritating my pits by shaving. Gonna see how this experiment works and plan to stick with it if it's more comfortable.

Anyway. Kudos. Solidarity, sister. 😄
ever tried the natural crystal for your deodorant - I've been using it for like 20 plus years now and I've turned many on to it - no chemicals, works - even worked for a co-worker's son who was losing friends in school because of his stinky sweaty feet - she said he wanted to come in and hug me after he tried it and it worked ... it is cool and inexpensive cause it lasts !

These are semi hard until they get wet. Then they're soft and squishy. Malleable. Could see em feeling kinda fleshy up there. In the beginning, I wasn't thinking and totally forgot to tell him about it. Not sure he noticed until I had my, "oh, shit!" moment.

Total TMI, but a partner can still go down for foreplay. It's not until the in and out starts happening that any blood would reach the outside bits. Unless it's one of those super heavy days, but that's pretty self explanatory. Otherwise, very clean.

Okay because I was thinking I don't know most guys would want their pee-pee exfoliated.

Is that the salt kind?

hmmm, yes now I just googled and saw that it was mineral salts - I never licked it so I didn't know what it was - it works

Almost positive I tried that one about 5yrs back and it started out ok, but became too drying a few weeks in. But thank you for the suggestion. I'll go back and look. If it's not what I'm thinking of, I'll give it a go. My search has gotten pretty frustrating and expensive over the years. ?

never had a problem with dryness so ? - this is the one that I've been using - and mind you, for $ 5 it lasts like a year so never a complaint from me

I'm just glad I'm east asian, not much body hair. The little I do have I just use nair, because I don't want to spend the money to wax, it's hard to do myself, and no shaving, because if I wanted to shred myself, I'd just use a cheese grater.
You just reminded me of the last time I waxed. By the time I was half done with Leg #2, I'd gotten to the point where I was doing that chicken dance and squinting an eye, before every new "Riiiiip!!!". I had to sit down and take a pause.

So, yes, I'm sitting on my bathroom floor naked. Then I went to get up. I was stuck. Some hot wax had dripped onto the floor and cooled, effectively adhering my bottom to the floor. Did I mention that was the last time I waxed?

Coconut oil can get it up from the floor.

I used to have to smoke a whole blunt before i self waxed

Considering I knicked myself in a very sensitive spot lastnight, this doesn't sound like a bad idea. Still can't do it though, grow a jungle.

But it is nice to mix it up now and then.

Legs and arm pits, I have to keep bare.
Can i ask why?

Honest answer, I think being hairy is gross on a woman, and it just looks dirty to me.

Private areas? Sure, just as long a person doesn't need a machete to get through, and it's neat. I like to mix it up from time to time down there, but the rest of my body has to be smooth.

Why? Hair is normal

I get that, I'd just rather not feel like scratch paper.

*edit* like a scratch pad.

Ive taken this discussion to other people. Asking them what do they think about my decision to no longer shave or wax.

Wow.

People are incredibly torn. Mostly women. There are very aggressive sides about shaving..mostly on those who are aganist body hair. Like dead set aganist it.

Years of marketing, peer pressure, social media has secured our ideals for decades to come.

I will repeat i dont judge women who still shave, wax, etc but wow the words phrases women and men use to describe those who dont is.....ugh.

I used to judge women who didnt get a brazilian but i see the errors of my ways now because im getting what i used to put out.

Hygiene is very important to me (Virgo rising), and I can't see staying clean throughout the day with too much hair in the private area or under the armpits. Hair encourages sweat and does a good job of developing odors. However, that is not to say that it is impossible to stay fresh, and the previous sentiment may be as ridiculous as claiming that all dreadlocks are dirty.

If you like it and your man likes it - all the power to you both.

And I agree with Cheeky, as long as you're clean, I think most men in a serious relationship do not care.
