@AfternoonDelights22 I have a question about how zombies work. So you have 2-3 hideouts. You have odd days where the zombies get to turn the person they choose and even days where the zombies get to kill (remove) the person they choose. Regardless of whether it's an odd or even day, we'll always have hideouts right? Like on even days you won't take away the hideouts, correct? In other words it means every night the zombies are only able to select someone from one hideout and never from all?You guys!
This question is great.
And what if,
There are nobody in the hideout they pick?
No kill and no turning? 😄I KNOW RIGHT! That's why I got excited to ask! But that would require group effort... I highly doubt we'd be able to gather all townies without one zombie knowing lol
That would be some work 😢

They will receive it but cannot use it except for the Master Zombie

Okay guys, so to progress the game anywhere, I just wanted to remind you all that townies always have only two options:
1. To risk reaching out to others to attempt to work together (choose who you reach out to wisely, evaluate their posts, their amount of activity to this thread)
2. To be a sitting duck and talk to no one while watching all your teammates die one by one (how the townies usually lose)
I have a game plan that could get townies to win but it's going to take a while to get around to all the townies. We have to start small and build up our trust group and make sure it's tight from zombies and the arsonist.
So about my game plan on how townies can win, communication is the key (surprise, surprise). There is no way we can win by guessing or being suspicious of every single thing. We have to start somewhere.
I really hope the scientist investigated me last night because they won't get anywhere if they investigated someone else and found a mafia for example if they don't have a townie at hand to trust. They need someone else because they can't risk outing themselves on the forums at all costs. That'd be a death wish. For example if I'm a scientist and I know who a zombie is... why would I out myself on the forums just to let you guys know? That'd put me at risk. Therefore, they NEED a support system to carry their investigations out to the rest while maintaining their role a secret to majority.
@scientist if you investigated me last night, you know that I'm a human and you need to send me a PM so I can share my entire game plan with you. I obviously can't say it in front of the zombies. You need to take this risk if we're going to go anywhere with this game. Just know that if I was the arsonist, I wouldn't be this stupid and loud. I'm publicly putting myself on the line for the responsibility of your life at this point should anything happen to you. The arsonist is a one-man, 3rd team who wouldn't risk themselves for their enemy (townies and mafia).
If you didn't investigate me last night, I still need you to PM me, and then you can investigate me tonight because what I have to say is really useful.

I was worried about this too, especially the master zombie. But things like that are usually always outlined under their role.

@arsonist I'm just telling you... you'll be harder to find than a zombie... so it'd be in your best interest to work with the townies first and get the mafia killed before you attack people who could possibly save you without you knowing like the priest, scientist, gunsmith, and baker. You NEED them to be kept alive. So please try targeting the zombies before you target townies...

Also, my opinion on why the arsonist probably attacked No. I haven't seen No post at all since roles were announced. So there is a possibility that the arsonist thought No was a zombie. Which is in a way not bad news for the townies because we need the arsonist to help us weed out the zombies.

I wasn't clueless about how the arsonist works. I probably missed Afternoon's post (if you can actually bring up where he said this in this thread I'd appreciate it). But remember, I hosted the last game, so I mapped out the game in accordance with the arsonist selecting people to light fire on the second night. I'm being honest, I completely forgot this aspect could've been altered.
Plus if I was an arsonist, rest assured I wouldn't be so damn loud!

-Loner gone crazy by this end of the world
-Every night picks someone to pour gasoline on (and they will not know it)
-At any time can light those people with gasoline on them on fire
-The first time trying to light the Master zombie on fire will not kill him/her
-Does not win unless left with 1 townie or the last one standingtheres no rule that guarantee that the arsonist wont be loud, they can be to take the lights off of them. as u stated No was quite therefor she got targeted because they thought she has a role or is a zombie. the arsonist could use this oppisite technique and be loud to remain unsuspicious.
if i was the scientist i wouldnt trust you tbh, not this early and not after all the "IM TOWINE" signs youve been throwing since day 1. it seem like youre trying too hard to appear like one.

I made a mistake in not understanding the arsonist's role which is why I keep asking Afternoon questions. All I'm saying is if the scientist somehow magically dies after they come forward to me, I'm telling you all to lynch me. If they don't die soon, that's because I've been honest about everything I've said.

I'm also transparent. I've been open about how why I think the arsonist chose the person they did and mentioned how it'd be in their best interest to work with the townies first or else the zombies could easily turn them or kill them any night whereas it's an advantage for them to keep the special roles alive since they also need a bread roll, protection from the priest, etc. So yeah, I wouldn't be so stupid to kill a special role if I was the arsonist. I'm smarter than that.

@starwars all I'm going to say it's easy to pick apart others words and make them appear guilty, especially picking apart words of someone who's been contributing so much. I've been contributing and posting my own opinions, not targeting anyone because I want the townies to work together. But what the zombiamafias do is try to pick apart others' words and try to make them suspicious.
So if you're really a townie, you should try to contribute more and give suggestions on how to approach things instead of being so suspicious.
Besides, just remember this, if I die and end up being proven a townie, YOU automatically will be next to die or get shot. So be careful on what you're trying to do here.

you're helping the poor arsonist and giving them tips as if they arent already aware of that.
you're not bringing anything new to the table, we all know that we shouldnt trust anyone, we all know that its better to not kill the special roles..etc. doing this doesnt guarantee that you're to be trusted, it could be a coverup.
the arsonist doesnt know butter about who is who especially at 1st night so they pretty much werent aware of No role and whether shes a townie or zombie. thats why theyd like to get closer to the scientist.

Trust isn't established overnight, I know that. But you have to start somewhere. I'm not forcing the scientist to come to me. I want them to read my posts and make the decision on their own. Don't get too worked up. What if they don't even contact me? No loss. So relax.

i had nothing to add in the first hours, since everyone was too quite. nothing that i could offer
im now contrbuting and sharing my opinion about how the scientist shouldnt trust anyone this early on the game.
im trying to, being suspcious of others is something a townie should take into accounts too. i care about the scientist and dont want them to be at risk, so how does that make me seem like a "zombie"
you cant throw words here and there and not expect to be suspected. if you're a townie, im sorry but im against the idea of the scientist reaching out to anyone this early, they need to at least investegate two people. townies arent hopeless to a point where the scientist should put themselves at risk with trusting the wrong people, we have time and power to win this.

You are more than welcome to hold this belief. I won't argue against this since I do agree the scientist shouldn't put themselves at the risk of trusting the wrong people.
But do remember, if I get killed and proven a townie, it will link back to you. I hold to these words.

And we're probably the only loud ones because neither probably has nothing to hide. It's safe to assume out of the 10/11 that haven't been been posting could contain the zombies and arsonist that are sitting back and watching us.
Every game has different dynamics, for this game, "blending in" means being silent. For other games, blending in could mean being more talkative and active.

Once again, they haven't contacted me, I don't get why you're so worried. It just seems like you're afraid the scientist might trust me and get you investigated to see if you're a zombie.
Plus why did you ignore the fact that I know how you play mafia, you're really good and I would've lit you on fire FIRST THING instead of No.

I just wanted to put my thoughts out here in case anyone was interested in building a trust group or else we'll be at a standstill.

It starts with the scientist investigating each of us. Which is a very slow process, but it's more foolproof than just allowing anyone to be exposed to the scientist's role. It's just I personally believe at this point so early it's difficult to narrow down who could be a zombie so if we establish some sort of trust group first, and as the game progresses, let's say the scientist has 2 confirmed humans at hand, and on the third night, they find a mafia. They could inform the two humans of the confirmed zombie who would then inform the rest of us, which protects the scientist from being exposed out on the open to the zombies.

If you read carefully, the zombies have the ability to figure each other out. Under the circumstances they accidentally vote for each other, they will be informed of their zombiemates. Unless you're a zombie and was aware of what happened last night, nobody else knows what happened during the zombie votes so we can only assume things.
