That means one of your great-great-grandparents was spanish. That means you still have 15 great-great-grandparents who aren't spanish.

whoever built my building. it's been here for decades maybe almost 2. i think they resolved it already though. you lost your chance to swoop in and save the day!
edit: although it was renovated recently so i'm going to say the main company did. you will see hundreds of them around the country. it's a pretty regular chain.

How was it resolved? Dude, how come they're blaming you when you're not the one who have the building constructed and you're not the one who owns and operates the shop? To argue that you were negligent in failing to prevent the mishap from happening is too big a stretch of imagination!

i'm not involved. i just don't want anyone that lives in my building to get shafted with medical bills they don't have to pay. so when the lady tripped she was brought to the hospital and some of her family or friends came back and filed a police report (idk why they did) and were implying the store should cover the damages. the store manager was being jerked around in the police station when i left this morning so i told another staff to get the store manager to go back to work and not to play anything. i checked in an awhile ago and they said it has been resolved and nothing was paid for. one of the regional managers lives in my building too so i think it was him who finally dealt with the silly issue.
Do people frequently trip over at that store? If yes, I don't think you'll still be liable. It could be the store owner or the contractor... but definitely not you.

LOL. I think blaming the store owner is too much of a stretch. Get a good night's sleep. This is nothing to worry about.
