It's a bit of mindfuck with aries-virgo energy in charts. Aries energy feels the same to me..but the Aries part in me goes on feral intuition..the Virgo energy on reasoning. I think I make a good job at bridging the viewpoints. Inconjunct energy is presumed to be about karma after all.

One thing I'd like to finally think more about and overcome is observing more first before I jump into things. And to the OP....I do feel differently now that I'm in my 30s. I feel more comfortable with my body and more in touch with what I want.I wouldn't want empty sex from a younger guy...or any guy. If I didn't know before....I know now. I just think women have so much more to lose in being promiscuous than a man does.
I'm kind of grateful that I was in a relationship for so many years because I feel it protected me from many painful lessons I didn't need to experience first hand. (I learn most things the hard way lol)
I too get the long term relationship protective thing. I started dating my husband a week after my 21st birthday (he was also 21), so I never had to go through that "dating in your 20s" thing. So I haven't dated in 12 years! I'm sure being in a relationship during those years saved me from making a million bad decisions I might have made if single (God knows made quite enough of those before met!!).
I never really thought about that aspect before, so thank you for bringing it up.
I think younger women have less baggage. Especially worldly women...a lot of history is accumulated during those personal encounters. I know a guy in his early thirties who is with a 19/20 year old. She doesn't like guys her own age because she's a serious girl and she sees them as immature. He doesn't relate to women his own age because they have too much baggage and hang ups ("you're only trying to GET with me!"), etc. In a way I relate because when guys my age speak with me...they have life experience I can't compete with: children, multiple exes, various sexual encounters, wild parties, illegal activity, and a mindset that just doesn't match my own. I honestly feel like a child because I can sense they know so many worldly things I haven't been exposed to.
You also have to remember that the 30s is sort of a "home stretch" in adult hood. In your 30s, you're settling down, career, house, etc. No more fucking around like in your 20s. From what I've noticed with the losers in their 30s that chase after 20 somethings is that they seem to be panicking/in denial over the fact that they are no longer in their 20s and it's time to put on the big boy pants. They chase younger because of this mindset and also because of what was mentioned before- the "challenge" of getting some hot young ass so it makes their ego calm the fuck down about being in their 30s now. "I still go it."
Some also do it because women their age will not date them due to them being emotionally retarded/immature. So they go after younger, naive girls who don't know any better. They get away with more shit with the 20 something crowd than the 30 something crowd. Women in their 30s - "Pfft, loser." Women in their 20s- "WOW. I can get older men to go after me. I'm so flattered!/Guys my age are immature. An older guy will work better for me." (lolz)
This is what I've observed from all the 30 something guys I've come across who chase after younger women. It seems there's a lot of immaturity involved rather than women their age having baggage.

It's not as mystical as you make it out to be. A lot of it is influence from societal factors... like women having to stifle their sexuality and be treated as sexual objects in most cultures.
I think by the time we hit our 30s, we're over that shit and do what we want. For 30 years, females have all this shit thrown in their faces from childhood- as a girl you're supposed to do this and that. You have to dress/look a certain way if you want a guy to like you. You have to have sex a certain way within a certain period of time if you want him to stay around. All of it is "if you don't do this or that then..." when it comes to the realm of dating and relating. Thirty years of this crap and it's like something snaps and you just stop caring.
"Fuck it, I'm gonna do what I want because I can. Eff these standards. I like sex like guys do, so I will have more of it when I want with who I want. Screw feeling ashamed of whatever."
I think the 20s acts as a sounding board of finding out what we do/don't like and learn what will actually make us happy in life.

I just hit 30 this February.I've never been able to separate sex and love.I agree with what Feby said.I can't sleep with a man I don't love.My biggest fear was to lose my self respect in the casual sex.I was scared of the thought of waking up next to the man who I can't even look in the eye.I was mostly in committed relationships all through my 20s and I feel very lucky to have found my soulmate.Sex is more meaningful when you are emotionally involved.I hope in coming years I get better at pleasing my man and enjoying my sexual peak.
While it sounds like it would be fun, everytime I've had casual sex I regretted it immediately after. I was left with an empty and used feeling that did feel something like shame. I Don't think sex would be enjoyable at all for me unless I had very strong feelings for the person.
Now if casual sex is your thing and you feel good about it, then by all means go for it! Every women should have sex exactly how she pleases, regardless of what anyone else thinks about it. I'm not trying to lady shame here!
Interesting theory but not true for me.
When I was young, I wanted to save my virginity to the guy I was going to marry. It's not because of any prudish reasoning. I just thought that would've been romantic. I love first experiences in anything. For me, I wanted those moments to be as memorable as it can be.
Alas! That's not what happened. I had a diabolical friend that ruined that dream for me. She knew about that dream of mine & she ruined it. So my first experience was a nightmare, to put it lightly.
That totally changed my perspective in sexuality. I felt like I had nothing more to lose when my virginity is gone. After I recovered from my traumatic experience & PTSD, I was open to my sexuality. It was great that my exes were virgins. They were very willing to oblige & please me.
I also tried 1 one night stand because I was curious why some friends of mine indulge in it. I didn't wanna feel like I was losing out in a particular experience so I did it once.
It was empty for me. I had to fake it. I realized I need an emotional connection for me to enjoy sex.
The best sex I've ever had & still get to have is with my husband. I'm super thankful we have great sexual chemistry. I do admit that's important for me afterall, he's the only one I can share this experience with for the rest of our lives.
I just wish he was more adventurous & open to certain things.
I've also had 1 FWB (Cap) during my sex, drugs & alcohol phase. The experience was far out! I guess hash heightened the experience.
So if I base it on my personal experiences, I can say it's about confidence, abandoning all inhibitions, and being open to all experiences without judgment.
The problem with people is, we're our worst critic & we worry too much about what other people think instead of being open to pleasure & new experiences.
There is such things called love affairs.??
It's lots intimate, sometimes sexual, definitely romantic.
