Most people should be able to relate to a few of those stressful scenarios. Job security being 18 followed by choosing what to wear at 19 is pretty stupid though.

There are a *few*.
Most them are either dead or very old, but I'd love to see a similar survey of what is called the "Greatest Generation" from that era overlaid onto the millenial list.

I donāt think this is accurate. Thereās not enough stats on how or where they got their information.
IF all they did was collect answers outside of UCLA....this makes sense.
This doesnāt make sense to anyone who lives in a real world with interest rates and mortgages and jobs and investments and health premiums and job negotiations and starting a family and buying a new home etc......
Thereās nothing of substance in this list. Iām a millennial and Iāve never been worried about my phone.
This list seems like it was made by a basic baby boomer trying to get another rib in there before they croak. š

Honestly, I mean, when you live in prosperous times, a list will look like this. I do think the list is probably biased, and not completely realistic in where things fall on it. But I am also glad that the list doesn't have "true" hardship in a sense, because at least it means my son and future children will have less plights to worry about then the generations before them.
I have a feeling that's what people said in the 1920s... If they could only see what would happen a decade or two later.click to expand

I am not a millennial or Gen Z lover, by any means. But I wouldn't want what my mom suffered during war, to fall on my son. I don't want any of that to befall on any generation.
I'm not completely optimistic with the rumblings of Venezuela lately.click to expand

In theory I would agree with that. That millenial list is what I imagine are referred to as "first world problems".
I think in terms of how prepared that generational cohort is when the shit hits the fan--a market crash bigger than 2008 or a major war isn't going to pass one by just because they're in their "safe space".
Hell, I could even place some of the Gen Xers in that category.click to expand
