what is your opinion or experience?

can a restaurant owner decide they dont allow children in? (more of babies or toddlers, but the bigger ones can be just as bad, if they dont behave)

I think parents should take their kids to family friendly restaurants. We already have to put up with them in grocery stores and airplanes.

Airplanes are THE WORST with screaming babies and their hurting ears.

Listen, I love my son to death. And I will love my other kids I have just as much.

HOWEVER....

What I can't stand are fucking loud ass, tantrum having, little shits that parents let do whatever the fuck they want, or babies that cry for the entire flight with the parents barely doing anything to try and stop it. I flew with my son a bunch. Before his first flight, I made sure I had all the necessary things that would comfort him as much as possible. Read up every trick I could get, so I wasn't "that" mom. Low and behold, I figured out a way to make sure he was comfortable the whole time and that the pressure change affected him as little as possible. If he was a crap traveler, I wouldn't torture other people on the plane with his crying, I would have driven and just taken longer to get where I needed to go.

So if you got a kid that is uncontrollable, stay your ass at home. Don't torture other people.

If they let in screaming kids they should let in quiet well behaved dogs. Ijs.

I don’t want a dog shitting on the floor while I’m eating.

Outdoor cafes only.

I don’t want a toddler shitting their pants 5 ft from me.

House broken is implied in the ‘well behaved dog’.

Honesty its not about the well behaved its about pet allergies that get in the flooring, ventilation etc and other dinners may have reactions and well the health codes. Pets do not belong inside restaurants, and yes i am a pet owner and feel this way. I understand service animals but it still makes me cringe, especially all the fake ones out there.

I remember my Leo cousin cried coz she was being served from the kiddie menu and she felt she deserved adult food

Bitch this is why you can’t have nice things

My daughter orders chicken strips at Mexican Restaurants. I’m deeply ashamed of her. 😂

She has recently opened up to burritos so she might be down for something different now.

She also cries when we eat pizza. 😂😂😂

lol. I remember those days.

she has to be grateful so she can have more.

As for kids.. if they are unruly they should be at home with a babysitter,. but people are selfish and do what they want and think "not my kid" . At least go to a family friendly place, otherwise 1-your kid may not even like the food on the menu and 2-will grow restless and not always behave.

Figured as much. 🤷‍♀️

You do realize you are part of the problem for real service animals and why they get bad raps. right?

Depends on the kind of restaurant. If it's a kiddie place like McDonald's or Chuck's, then okay. But if it's an expensive fine dining special kind of restaurant, then no. No one wants to hear screaming brats while they dine in fine surroundings. Kids need to be off limits in some places. No sitter, stay home.

Dogs don't belong in restaurants either. I don't want dog hair floating around, because all hair travels. No poop on floors, no barking, and even the best well trained dog can get overwhelmed by strangers. Ppl need to break their attachments; sad if you can't leave Fido at home for half hour just to eat. No, not talking about the blind. That's a service dog who is working and helping their master. Different story.

Children belong at Chuck E Cheese and other family-based restaurants.

They do NOT belong in restaurants that are 25+ dollars a plate.

Leos are in constant need of a dose of humility, so it should be gladly provided to them by the shovel-full.

Most of the time they are busy proving that Satan exists, so it's always humorous to see them get their just desserts (by human hands or their bad Karma).
