Ok so we have very limited parking spaces where I live and with snow piling up spaces are even more scarce. So tonight I go out for an hour to grab food and I come back and somebody is in my parking space. Now I sat there for 10 minutes honking my horn in hopes the person would come out and move and they didn't. Now we have the option to call the tow truck it's a service used frequently by our leasing office. So this has happened to me several times and usually it happens during winter and at the most inconvenient times like when I come home late from rehearsal with my son and I don't want to walk from the street with him and all my stuff in my hand just to get to my apartment because a parking space that I paid for is taken up by somebody! So tonight yeah I called a tow truck because it pissed me off that someone was in my space yet again when there is tons of street parking. And I know what you're thinking why don't you just park on the street I did, but the fact of the matter is there's limited parking and I paid for that space. There is a warning sign saying that you will be towed if you park in someone's spot. So I called a tow truck but I kind of feel bad about it because they cost money, and I don't want to inconvenience someone because I wouldn't want to be inconvenienced financially, but they inconvenienced me by parking in my spot. Basically I want to know if it was petty for me to call the truck.
Trying to decide if this is wrong

1. I don't see an issue with it IF you have paid prior for that spot.
2. Use paragraph breaks.

Now I am wondering if I should wait a while before moving my car back into my spot in case they retaliate
Posted by SanchezPosted by ladylibra21They'll only get fined more for retaliating, and the police will then get involved. If they were smart, they wouldn't retaliate. Are they black? Because we can get really nasty and hateful to our neighbors?

I don't know who's car it is it's a visitor who is visiting one of my neighbors so they should've known better because the neighbor should've told them that they would get towed so in my eyes they did it just because they didn't care. And I am black but I don't act that way when I have issues with neighbors. I would rather go through proper channels and take matters into my own hands but I know other people like to take matters into their own hands. As long as they don't come knock on my door I'm good.
Posted by bumboklattPosted by ladylibra21Haha been there. No its not wrong, you shouldn't feel guilty, they gotta learn
Now I am wondering if I should wait a while before moving my car back into my spot in case they retaliate
Example if I get a parking ticket I better learn or else it's gonna cost me, and if I'm willing to pay huge fees then let me pay them, unpaid tickets can easily turn into a warrant then things get messy.
With a tow truck it's even better cause they have to go get their car
And yeah maybe you should wait to park just in case they are ghetto lolclick to expand
lol I can't wait to move out of this neighborhood
Well I have the license plate number and my blinds are up so if I see them fucking with my car I'm videoing.
The parking spot was paid by you for your use.
They should be paying you for using your spot.
They can pay for it
They should be paying you for using your spot.
They can pay for it

fuck 'em in the ass with that tow truck hook

Posted by ladylibra21I would wonder too.
Now I am wondering if I should wait a while before moving my car back into my spot in case they retaliate
But they'll see it tomorrow or the next day etc.
BUT they already know you're not afraid to
enforce the rules.
Soo... I'm not sure what else you can do tbh. :/
