It is kinda weird that the last 2 rebates to US citizens will have been by Republican presidents. While the last debate Iran received was from a Democratic US president.

Let's be real though, we dont really know when the virus actually got here therefore numbers are going to be extremely hard to get accurate Several well respected doctors in my area are adamant that late October's beginning of walking pneumonia diagnoses were in fact the virus. We just didnt know what it was at the time. If that's the case the numbers get skewed.click to expand
I'm in a profession that has to rely on the numbers given by the healthcare community. We have precautions for a reason. I've been in the trenches for years and have seen what even the slightest increase in patient flow can do to a facility... and that's with the ability to transfer out, which we won't have if every facility in the nation is met with the same increase.

I’m not understanding what Trump is doing so wrong as it pertains to -this- particular situation. Every country is struggling and had issues accessing tests, and I don’t see us any worse off. It's very simple: both his and his administration's lack of give a shit put us behind roughly three weeks in real time. In viral time, it really set us back 3 months.
At this point we're putting Band-Aids over a gaping wound. I guess if you put enough Band-Aids, even the largest wound will be covered but I wouldn't call it a solution to your problem.
We are one of the richest countries on planet Earth and we completely screwed the pooch on this one. I can't wait for somebody to start digging when this all settles out and we find out that the main office is responsible for coordinating our efforts against this virus or any other, response teams were shut down to have border wall funding.
We should have been on this since January. We are now halfway into March and we are following the exact trajectory that Italy is on right now. Somebody asked the Italians how they're doing...
What more could have been done, in January, when China wasn’t even really cooperating with other countries? Their own media is whistleblowing, right now, about how their government ordered an entire coverup - made to destroy samples, punished the people who were getting word out, etc.
It wasn’t until the end of January that I feel anyone had a clue of what was truly going on and what the extent was. And then it was too late. And it’s too late for every other country too, because literally no one else has this under control right now. So I don’t necessarily agree with this being a TRUMP problem. At all. Only if everyone else was way ahead of the game would this argument make more sense to me.
Doctors in my area, and I'm beginning to see more say the same in other areas, say since October there has been a surge in walking pneumonia diagnoses they truly believe was the virus. We just didnt know what it was at the time, and "Walking Pneumonia" is kind of a catchall diagnosis for respiratory illness.click to expand

That's the thing...we really do not know what the situation is except what we are being told. Anyone claiming they have it and are being shown on TV could very well be getting paid to lie (cause that's never happened before), everything on TV can be manipulated to cause fear and panic or relief and happiness.
