you know I was thinking about the term "morbidly obese"

obese is already a fucked up term but to add morbidly in front of it is sort of taking it to an extreme, almost like an alarm...

and who are these fat fucks who only shrug when the doctor tells them they're morbidly obese?

dude. I hate to throw my friend under the bus like this...but her doctor told her she was morbidly obese last week.

She's a little overweight, but honestly I can't see morbidly obese. She is perfectly healthy, just a little chunky at the moment. Maybe like 35-40 lb overweight. I've seen morbidly obese, and she ain't it!

She was PISSED cause the doctor wrote it on her chart, therefore on her permanent medical records, which will fuck her over when it comes to getting health insurance on her own when she moves in May. Her doctor is Russian and weighs like 90 lb. and makes it very clear she thinks Americans are fat.

BeautitulStruggle, I am well aware of what a state of being is, and get gay ... this thread isn't about me not understanding essence.

PP is "a" Gay ... and he never told me how that felt.

oh hush, it isn't directed just at you, it's in general..i love finding out and talking about history of words and how their used..I'm still on topic, just expanding the view to included semantics instead of just phonetics..that's all.

Like take Qbone's norwegian language for instance..

Gift.....it's a common word used to describe a present, something tangible that shows you like them or you're kind, or to celebrate a holiday, special day..etc.etc.

But the origin is norwegian, and in norwegian the word means 'poison'....I read it once, can't remember where exactly, something to deal with presenting food items to kings and ending up them being poisoned..so it ended up that they'd view any 'gift' as always having some alterior motive.

See, that's the things I find interesting, in addition to phoenomes and stuff.

I was just thinking of this earlier.
What if you change the pronunciation of 'faggot' so it becomes 'fah jjay' (emphasis on the j), would that make it less offensive or post-offensive as it's kinda like making the initial word seem even camper ?

I have no clue what you said ... except for you were thinking about it, and I get you're referring to being offensive, or less thereof ... the rest is talking in a language I don't understand.
