Attention all scorpio moons post in here about what makes our moon sign the most desirable. I'm tired of us constantly getting shit on so it's time to speak up!
the most desirable: deep feelings and the ability to understand (on an emotional level) what is happening, even if they dont understand it (on a rational level)

scorp moon get shyte, because they manipulate (sun scorp manipulation fanes in comparison) they just manipulate soo much, that even they get confused by it and then blame others for their heartache 🙂

paired with a fire sun - the ego and intensity is not for everyone to handle.... but they cant handle themselves as well, and again, blame others to not read their minds and hearts, when they themselves cant read it... because its a rollercoaster every two hours (at least 🙂

the good thing is, they are reserved (which seems a contradiction to what I said above, but its really not)... they are reserved and waiting for somebody who will understand their confused feelings in a loving way.... if they dont find anybody understanding and on a same wawe, they often provoke people extremely to get a reaction they soo crave

good thing is: they crave connection

(which my cancer moon appreciates very much 🙂 )

I feel like Scorpio moons understand human feelings better than anyone else. That's how I feel with my Scorpio moon friend: understood. And there is something very comfortable with that. Scorpio moons like to know your hidden emotions so they will lure it out. Maybe it's a form of manipulation but it's working. They make you feel so comfortable that you're willing to tell all your dirty secrets to them while they don't tell you theirs. 😶😑

My favorite thing about Moon in Scorpio is that I’m keenly observant and intuitive, and have a gut-level style of seeking emotional honesty.

I try to understand human nature and I’m never content with superficial appearances and are always probing beneath the surface of things. I don’t accept superficial answers. I therefore have a great aptitude for research. 😉

I feel like I easily can pick up on and «read» highly complex and differentiated sets of feelings emitting from others, and thus intuitively figure someone out to a certain extent: their complexity in personality, moods, weaknesses, inner motivations and true intentions. I can’t reason logically why I know stuff about people, I just have a subtle awareness, I sense it, I seem to know things at an instinctive, nonverbal level.

It is easy for me to feel empathy and I´m often the one people turn to, even people that I feel like I "just met". I love that about me, to be worthy of someone else´s trust is quite special. I’m a sympathetic listener and quite easily can get people to let their guard down and talk to me about their lives, problems and things that are personally meaningful to them. Hence I feel like I can sensitively get to the heart of the matter concerning someone’s emotional problems/ concerns.

People can therefore always appeal to my empathetic and sympathetic side. I think Cancer moons can relate to this sympathetic nature also. If there isn´t a "cancer moon appreciation" thread yet, there needs to be one. 🙂

On the negative side, some will find me too penetrating or pushy. And along with the intuitive sensitivity and absorbing nature of the Scorpio moon, you also risk sometimes being too personally sensitive or suspicious. Scorpio moons can also be very manipulative, in a subtle way, if we´re honest. But for the most part I dare to claim that the Scorpio Moon placement makes it of profound importance to be genuine, for the people with this placement.

My emotions are very intense, but often hidden. I spend a lot of time mulling over my experiences and feelings, trying to understand and make sense of them. I experience life with great emotional intensity and feel strongly and deeply. I also form very strong emotional bonds and attachments. There are good and bad sides to this of course, ecstasy and agony and then ecstasy and rapture again. Sometimes the intensity of my emotions surprises even me…

I can sometimes be embarrassed by my own enthusiasm / intense emotions. Thank God for my Libra and Taurus placements that give me some detachment and more easy-going influences. But then again, you take the good with the bad in Scorpio Moon. I have tremendous zest for life and I live for plumbing the depths of life and emotions. 🙂 I have a very gut-level approach to life.

Taking the good with the bad, I’m always changed in a deep, fundamental way by my experiences. Scorpio Moon is described to be all about emotional honesty, depth and transformation, and I find that to be true for me.

I’ve seen words by Carl Jung being used to describe the mentality of the Scorpio Moon placement: “One does not become enlightened by imagining light, but by making the dark conscious.” I like that.

As a contrast I can´t stand people who I perceive to be shrugging their way through life. It limits our existence and I just don’t get it.

Besides people like that I feel pretty tolerant and understanding of people. And that has made me more self-accepting. Which in turn gives me the confidence to be independent in thoughts and expression. Balances out my «people pleasing libra sun and mars». 😉

Lastly, I know I’m fiercely loyal, and very persisting and enduring, I can outlast just about anyone.

This is an amazing breakdown for how I feel. I thank my Leo sun for not allowing the darkness to consume me.

Scorpio moons generally have high emotional intelligence. Understanding complex feelings and seeing beneath the surface comes natural for people with this moon sign. I'm very drawn to people with high EQ. I can't really fully open up to someone that doesn't have that capacity to understand feelings on a deeper level. Even if we have known each other for years. And then with a Scorpio moon it can happen almost immediately. They have that power to bring it out very fast. 🙂

Being appreciated for sensitive emotional insight is a gift. The moon gives the strength to go "places" other´s are more hesitant to tread, because that´s where the Scorpio Moon finds the most raw and genuine emotional honesty. The nectar. 😉

The Scorpio Moon is not easily scared off, I think that´s why people feel safe opening up to Scorpio Moons a lot of the time, - one seldom experience the *shock, horror, gasp*, judgement or blank faces that one might get from less emotionally tuned placements. I also find that there is an optimism in Scorpio Moon, because there is a strength in being "more comfortable" and enduring in dark/ tough experiences/ emotions (be it your own or others) and knowing you can transform with it into something better/ illuminating, and a Scorpio Moon can help other people realize this about themselves. Referencing back to the Jung quote. It gives a strength that others can lean on.

I think Scarlett O'hara had to be a Scorpio moon 😉

It can potentially be an overwhelming moon sign for sure, I get that someone with other placements can sometimes be like "can we just chill with the depth thing for a ´mo? Lets just enjoy tin foil being shiny for a bit or something." 😉

And there´s a lot for Scorpio Moons to appreciate about other moon signs too obviously, other watery moons with their nurturing and sensitive placement, and earthier placements can be grounding and calming I find, and other air placements have a tolerant openness in thought, if not in emotions like a Scorpio Moon.

That I know of, I have an Aries Male w/ Virgo Moon friend, and Taurus Female w/ Virgo Moon friend. They both have Leo Rising as well. We crack each other up, especially the Aries male. We can just keep it going with the ridiculousness for hours. Two of the most funny people I know. 🙂

I don´t know if it´s the Virgo Moon or some other placements, but they both feel more dependent on the friendship - which is not to say I don´t care deeply for them, ´cause I do. I feel great warmth towards them and always have a good time. They just initiate more. But they both seem to have admiration for me in what we are different on, and sometimes therein also lies an ambivalence I suppose. Not so much the Aries w/virgo moon friend, he´s way more easy going like "whatevz, you do you babe, I´m off for a snickers in the mean time". 😉 While my earthier Taurus w/virgo moon friend seems to have a count down before she gets annoyed/ feels the need to bring me back down to earth. 😉

Vivien Leigh was a scorpio sun, I adored her in Gone with the Wind and Anna Karenina. She was told she resembled a lot of Scarlet O'Hara persona, though she denied it.

Haha, this is actually pretty spot on for me and Aries w/virgo moon. I´m often puzzled ´cause he´s really naturally talented at a lot of stuff like drawing and photography and starts all these really interesting projects about urban exploring for example and making podcasts with interesting people , but then he drops it cold after a while to watch re-runs of "The Walking Dead" or something. So I keep pushing and hinting to get back at it. 😉 He keeps getting sets of drawing pens etc for his birthday, - I´m almost on the verge of being passive aggressive I feel sometimes. 😉

Yeah I've read everywhere that virgo moons are often seen as underachievers. It holds pretty true for me, I think virgo moons insecurities tend to rank everyone else higher than themselves, and so they tend to settle for second best, or third best or last lol.

I think the aries sun helps somewhat with that though, so we're more able to pull ourselves out of a slump.

And ofc having Scorpio moon friends 😉

Yes, I´d put it down more to insecurity than laziness too, I actually wrote a post about insecurity referencing my Aries w/virgo moon friend on some other thread here actually.

There is a lot of get up and go in an Aries though, he starts all these things, but then it peters out.

When I "push" I feel like I have to do it mostly indirectly through praising him randomly and giving gifts as hints, or else I´ll make him feel more insecure ´cause I´m "exposing" a weakness, and he’s hiding his feelings.

When he´s had a tough time, and really felt insecure, he´ll seek my company and not say much or call me with the most see-through excuses, but not _say_ how he feels, thinking he´s hiding in plain daylight. But I know what´s up. 😉 So off I go with my "random" praise, since I sense that he needs it.

Regarding the Scorpio Moon having a sensibility to «read» people, the first time I met my Aries w/virgo moon friend, was when I was starting in a new job - I got in the elevator with a man and a woman, in a building with several floors and several businesses. I didn’t get to look at him, but I just felt his energy so strongly: without knowing why, I knew that this man was one of my new colleagues, I knew that it would be him that would give me my first day of training, and I sensed that he had a very kind, but sensitive/ unsure energy about him. Sometimes I spook myself! How did I sense that he was one of my new colleagues and _the_ person that would give me my training in a building with so many people and businesses? And I didn’t get to see what he looked like in the elevator, and he anyway always has the body language and front like a super confident person, but I sensed his soul. 😉

My Taurus w/Virgo moon friend is also very secretly unsure. + a Cancer w/virgo moon that I know.

The best thing for me about Virgo Moon, beside sense of humour, is that they are all very good and eager to help me with practical stuff. 🙂

Yeah, I need to find myself a scorp moon man. By far my favourite moon sign.

One of my besties is a Leo sun scorp moon, she's great. Such a trooper, works nonstop and still manages to find time for other things, always on the go.

I'm a little lazy sometimes, like uuuggh I just wanna chill here and watch a movie, but she's always able to gimme a kick up the ass and make me do shit.

Can I ask Scorpio moons something? Let's say you have a connection with someone older (I'm 11 yrs older). Would age difference be a problem at some point? (later in life when you're 50 and they're 61, body deteriorates faster, less sex..). I know at some point we start looking at age differences differently, especially as we get older, and have less opportunities to come across meaningful connections.) I'm a Capricorn moon and I'm told scorpio moons and Capricorn moons are very compatible.

Can I ask Scorpio moons something? Let's say you have a connection with someone older (I'm 11 yrs older). Would age difference be a problem at some point? (later in life when you're 50 and they're 61, body deteriorates faster, less sex..). I know at some point we start looking at age differences differently, especially as we get older, and have less opportunities to come across meaningful connections.) I'm a Capricorn moon and I'm told scorpio moons and Capricorn moons are very compatible.

Im a mid 30s and can say at an early age the chemistry cuts through the B's. Meaning if the two people vibe age race or religion isn't to much a factor in comparison to loyalty open mind for bedroom Olympics.

I'm strickly speaking as a water sun (cancer) with water placements (merc, mars, pluto) so the negatives might not be as pronounced as with someone with less water.

It's a lot of latent paranoia, considering everyone and everything. It amplifies emotional extremes to a destructive point, without ever really being able to properly express them, and sadly, internally desires this chaos for some reason. The whole destruction/rebirth thing scorpio has going on. It's just a stressful placement imo.

Well, its my moon and it's internally apart of my Psyche; I somewhat desire the problems it bring if it makes any sense, it's a continuing work in progress for me to properly focus and find constructive channels for me.
