then i did some searches online on some of those psychic communities and empath/spiritual searches..
some answers were really good..
one was ...."If you had problems with your taxes, you wouldnt just go to anyone, you'd go to a professional ....or if you had problems with your plumbing.. you'd go to a professional plumber to fix it. or a mechanic when your car breaks down.."
i get it, they usually go to someone who has the ability to set them free...or guide them back out of their rut, staying on this earth.
maybe they want a message to be sent, or maybe they want to convey their message, before they pass, or that they got stuck because they got murdered and they need to get their killer, that kind of thing...
but when they approach a child, i always thought it's the purity.
but not all children get to see this either, so i think it is the answers that i found instead.

Spooky shit just happens to me and around me and always has. Not entirely sure why or if there’s an explanation but it’s a gift my grandmother has and her mother before her.
Typically there’s only a few in my family that have felt spirit or handled them.
I don’t have a lot of memories of this but I did have spirits visit me as a kid. They’d visit my room as if they were passing through. I’ve only experienced a few dark spirits and these are the ones that stay in my memory and have kept me afraid of spirits my whole life.
There’s a shadow man that followed me as a kid. I won’t go into detail because these things literally live off of fear but you can do some research.
I don’t know what makes it prevalent in some peoples lives and not in others. I think anything ghostly related is fucking nuts and kind of insane tbh. It sounds insane and seems just as crazy. I’m extremely critical of these things even though they’ve happened to me for my whole life. I’ve always searched for an explanation and there is none.
I think it’s hereditary. It’s not a blessing.

just like a human being that is alive you can put your foot down and tell them to stop harassing you, they are the same as if they were alive. Meaning you dont allow these things to take advantage of you.
my aries sister is also super sensitive, empathetic, so she used to get alot of that in the past, but she told me she doesn't want it in her life so it has stopped showing to her, (anything paranormal) but only in cases of emergencies, do these things come to protect her.
just like what @sierra posted, on spirits protecting you. like a warning, they help warn you of oncoming dangers.

From what I've read and heard, it's about being open to it, in some way.
I used to see and hear a lot of things when I was younger. The last time I experienced anything paranormal was probably 3-5 years ago.
There are still times however, when I think I've just had an experience, but I'm never sure. They have a lot to do with mirrors.
I knew a man who dealt with spirits or entities (as he liked to call them) almost on a daily basis. I don't know how he kept his sanity but he seemed to be used to it.
what i'm trying to figure out, is that i asked to have it blocked and not follow me around so they respect me in that sense. I'm pretty good at keeping my boundaries with spirits and they dont really mess with me, they have a respect because I respect them too. that's why. it's a boundary respect thing.
now that i understand a little more what to do with it, because i try to avoid it alot, is how to send them back to their destination. They feel stuck.

you know the concept of hell....is that someone who gets STUCK in the same horrible loop, their own personal nightmare,
kind of like the Sisphysis rolling the rock up the hill...stuck in his own personal hell.

but if someone i love calls me in my sleep, i would hear their voice calling me and then i wake up and then i call them on the phone to see if they're OK.
they were not ok at the time when they called me in my sleep...they were having problems or really really sad, and stressed.
that connection i have is super strong.
my mother and grandmother also had the same things. the connection is super strong where if a loved one is suffering we get the feelings immediately.
i really really like that. it's like having my own personal antennae. without wires. it's all here in the heart and head.

i have only told my mother and my husband. lol
my mother likes to keep asking me about it and then she told her psychic friend, she knows maybe one in her life that have empathetic abilities and she really loves to tell my story because it's amazing to her...
but in all honesty, my mother's abilities are more amazing. i mean come on!!! hearing the coming of death through bird's warnings and signs and the howling of animals??

So. What happened.
I was around 9 or 10. Or maybe 11. At the time my family and I live in an apartment. Me and my younger sisters had a sleepover in my room which was right next to my parents'.
In the middle of the night, my sag sister asked me to take her to the bathroom - she was 4, 5 or 6 (she's 5 years younger than me). I didn't want to disturb my parents by going to their bathroom, so I took her to the closest one, which was in another hallway. It was a pretty long hallway.
So, as we turn left to get to guest WC, we both stopped short because we saw something. The hallway was in the dark, but we could see a pretty big shape. It was massive, almost reaching the ceiling. Where I'm guessing the eyes would be, there were two red dots.
I asked my sister if she was seeing what I was seeing and she said yes. Btw, we both remember that night. Even now, she can attest to it lol. Even my parents can attest to it. Saying that because some people don't believe me when I tell them.
Anyways, she started pulling me back saying that she didn't want to go anymore. Then we heard a rumble and saw the shape moving closer. That's when we were like "fuck that, we're leaving". We went straight to our parents' room, woke them up, told them what we saw. Our dad went to get my other sisters from the room to theirs. (He didn't question us because he's very spiritual and also believes in that kind of stuff).
He went to check it out and we could hear yelling and like there was a fight going on. After about about a couple of minutes, he came back with a small drop of blood running down his forehead.
He was apparently fighting "the thing" in the dark. At one point it disappeared.
Later in the week, he called a priest to bless the apartment, lmao. I'm not religious but I'm kinda glad he did that because who the fuck knows 😆click to expand

Both my mom and grandma have amazing instincts but i did not grow up with my mom so i was not aware of this until i was much much older so i always thought it was all in my head.

Ill tell you the most recent thing that has happen to me. I was just telling my sister this story, shes the only person on earth who would understand me.
I believe in spirits, i believe the dead sends us messages all the time and they never fully leave us.
Last month as alot of people know my ex boyfriend(who is a great friend) was in a really bad car accident and was fighting for his life. When i got the phone call my whole world just stopped, like i literally dont even remember that day or how i got to the hospital. I was crying the whole way there, i have never been more sick to my stomach. Being in the hospital and seeing him in that state was heartbreaking, i held his hand all night. The next day i woke up and drove to the hospital and spent the day in ICU. When i got home i just about had it. I had a huge meltdown. Just asking why?! why do bad things happen to good people? my heart literally felt like it was breaking into tiny pieces, Ill always remember this night. I went to the shower and i was sobbing. I didnt want my sister to hear me crying like that and the only place i knew she wouldn't hear me is in the shower, i have never cried so hard in my life. The only person i have lost is my cousin who i was very close with, i still believe hes around me all the time. Well i was in the shower standing there sobbing and i promise you i felt a huge hug! My cousin was very tall and when we hugged i would laugh at how small i was to him. When i was standing there feeling the most helpless ive ever felt, i felt someone hugging me tight. I stood there for like five minutes, i didnt want to move it felt very nice and like a calming cloud came over me. I immediately felt peace and just knew my friend was going to be okay. And he survived miraculously. The doctors dont even know how and he had 8 months of rehab lined up but hes already walking and its only been a few weeks!
I cant describe the feeling of another presence but when you know you know. I KNow my cousin and i was so close with him theres no way i wouldn't know when he was near me, even if it is just his soul. I believe he stayed with me that night making sure i was ok, i believe he knew i needed someone, i had locked myself in the shower hoping no one would see but he saw. He sees.
I hope no one on here thinks iim weird but if you read that whole thing you rock.
