Why do animals always seem to gravitate towards me?

Just curious.

I don't consider myself the most warm or matwrnal of persons, and yet Animals and small children always seem to gravitate towards me.

Has anyone noticed this with themselves? Is there a cause for it? Is it chemical or emotional or both or neither?

Natally it's Scorpio and Sagittarius (it straddles both). My Saturn/Scorpio and Uranus/Sagittarius are both there.

I have no idea what my transits or progressions are doing though.

But when I gravitate towards cats to hold one...they run away 😢 ..street cars I mean.

Small children and old folks gravitate towards me yesssssss. A lot!!

Even dogs. But sometimes I get little scared if they are big and scary..

I have it too...I'm very good with animals...kids, young and old... ...I'm good with adults but it just takes effort. 😉

Cats when I least expect.

But if I want to approach them..they run away *meow* .. It seems my Scorpio moon is too intense for cats 😛

Animals have a great way of knowing who needs their love the mostest. ^____^

I am similar, but it's mostly children and cats.

My 5th house is ruled by Leo and intercepted by Virgo. I've worked with children a lot and relate to them well, and I love cats and relate to their nature, usually. Dogs can like me too but I'm not experienced with them so I don't quite know what to do.

I have many planets in the 6th house, the house supposedly for small animals/pets.

Anything but dogs gravitate towards me. People say they feel safe with me. Humans too...

I'd like to have some human pets 😛

Animals are instinctual and have heightened senses, for survival purposes. They can probably sense that you're a good person that doesn't mean any harm. Children probably gravitate towards you as well.
