I hate being an ADULT

*Venting post*

Sometimes I hate being an adult, sometimes I hate having to pay bills, cooking for myself, and everything else...

Haha, who else feels like this sometimes? Thank God I don't have any kids because sometimes I would have to tell them "Mommy doesn't feel like being your mom today—"

Who doesn't hate being an adult? It sucks, but at least we are adults and can take it. At some point you realize well fuck, I'm not a free spirit after all. I'm controlled and forced to work. I can't be free and enjoy life the way I want, I have to obey the rules and just get over it If I don't like it. This life isn't mine all all, but everything else's. Wtf is that? But we got to live as a free spirit once, at least as far as our childhood imagination could go. At least we got to experience that. Which is the beauty of creating children. At that point we get to watch something we created be a free spirit, which is as close to freedom an adult will ever get.

So back to adulting I go

Hate what ?? Nothing wrong with living just to go through the motions. As long as you're doing what your loved ones and/or society expects of you you're doing the right thing. You were given life to censor that inner voice and find your place in society. At least you aren't a criminal nor homeless. At least you don't have to worry about wild animals being in your vicinity like the savages do. It's better to settle for a sensation of security than desire more freedom !

What I love about being an adult is I get to make my own choices and do what I want to do and be who I want to be. It fucking rules.

I've been waiting to be an adult my whole life. I gladly take on all those boring lame responsibilities to not be dictated to as a child.

Always. It sucks. I hate it. It's boring and dismal. I hate cooking for myself.

it's not being an adult that is bad, it's when others expect you to be an "adult" that is bad.

Well I like cooking..I don't really think of that as adult!
