Thoughts on it?
Do you think it's real?
Possible to give to anyone?

...I have a Pisces Venus, unless it's love for your child, I don't think so. Conditions would be there. Love for humanity...hahaha. I'd sooner say duty/altruism as reasons than love.

Yeah I probs need to turn my Venus in Pisces in for this. I mean the concept/idea is what many want from others, yet can't give to themselves or others.

^^thts coming from a sun+moon gemini. Its fantasy and pleasant theoretically, like would you forgive and take back your SO after you found out they cheated on you and were using you? NO thus it doesnt exist

Of course it exists. The love of a mother for her children is a perfect example.

Unconditional love between partners is also possible, but it requires substantial spiritual maturity.

It also requires fundamental understanding and forgiveness of our flaws as humans. The teachings of Jesus are examples of this.

I can see that. Though wouldn't the Venus/Pisces native know this innately or would it have to be refined over time to reach that point? As of now, giving selflessly of my love/nurturing emotions/etc and asking/getting nothing back doesn't sit well with me.

Granted with ones I know/grow close to...just doing anything to ease any kind of suffering they have is all I'll need. Though doing that for any asshole human? It makes me think my heart would become an exploited charity.

Yeah I'm sure natal aspects DO have an influence but spiritual maturity is equally critical.

For example, I totally agree with you that one doesn't give unconditional love to just any "asshole human". BUT someone who is spiritually mature and aware would be able to go beyond...again Jesus is a good example but there are more "common" humans who have done it, say Mother Teresa as another example.

But let's face it, the ones who are able to give unconditional love to their fellow humans end up sanctified because it's not a simple task.

Other than the love of a mother for her child there is no unconditional love.

@spiceNsugar: yes, it COULD exist b/w partners romantically but lets be real here. The world that we live in is filled cheating azzholes and b*tches. So it doesnt exist

I agree with you. But I think that unconditional love is NOT about how flawed humans are but about another human's ability to FORGIVE those flaws.

It's not something everyone CAN do, but I think we all have the CAPACITY to do it. We chose not to do it because we feel used and abused by others.

Not simple at all. Accepting and loving one person, flaws and all is a tall order.
Lots of people don't love themselves and look to others to fill the void in their heart.
To give freely and unconditionally to that level would require a very strong will person to endure the pains and just keep on giving.

I don't think I can reach that level though, I'm too selfish. 😆

It's the big Pisces blind spot. As much as they're the best practioners of it, do they actually learn any alternative forms of love? So then they hurt themselves an awful lot when young. But the love is real and I've seen it. You have to discover it for yourself.

Tough love.
The four loves.
I'm bothered that most think: romantic/sexual love > everything. The most fleeting of loves somehow being the best. To the point all others get forsaken in it's name, including the person sacrificing that much.

I've been hurt by family more honestly. Though I guess just keep going till a romantic bond tries to get me into that mindset.

Unconditional Might be the most free of loves though it's not the only one.

maybe look at religion for example - there it is preached "your god loves you unconditionally" - but it is not true - especially here you will find all sorts of conditions you have to fulfill to obtain that love of god.

the God Delusion has fucked up mankind more than people even realize.

Not just this topic where people are actually claiming that unconditional love exists (where it obviously cannot) ... but, a lot in life, people are blinded by this delusion.

Sad really.
