Jealousy or Controlling??

So... recently I've been seeing this Leo guy... And we started off pretty rocky because I wasn't giving him enough attention (I don't believe in being a clingy lover)... Unfortunately, he was a little "hurt" by this, b/c according to him he enjoys the "extra attention"...

Anyway, we're on good terms now and so today he sent me a long text message saying "Thank you for everything"...

After reading the text, I asked him why is he thanking me... He replied, "because your such a down ass chick, you've been there a lot and you don't judge... Thank you ??"

I replied, "I don't do the emotional shit... lol.. but ok"

Now once that was over, we were good until I told him I was going out with some friends to a bar.. and he got really mean/mad and sent me a text saying "whatever your so naive (with the angry emoji)"

Like I don't get it hahaha... he went from being so nice to being so mean... lol... Is this typical "Leo male behavior??"

I never replied and now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have ignored it...What do y'all think I should say to him??

If I thanked somebody and they replied like you did I would be pissed too. He's probably mad because you keep rejecting him. Just reply and tell him he's a cutie.

It's not intentional, but I just don't want to come off as a clingy person... or an overly emotional person... Also, I believe in space... so I don't want to feel like I'm limiting his freedom...

I wouldn't have liked your response earlier, if it were me. I'd say you were mean, not him.

And I dont understand what he means you are naive...by going to a bar with friends...? Maybe I have a different understanding of the meaning of naive lol!

Damn... I sorta apologized to him for the "mean response".... but I asked him "how am I naive?".... I don't understand either... ??

? That kinda reminds me of my ex. Are you two official yet? When I was with a Leo, I need to ASK permission, yes lady you heard it right, ASK permission if I want to go and hang out with my friends. On a good day, he'll let me, on an awesome day, he'll suddenly show up on my ladies night ?

I see traits like that with him.... I have a lot of childhood friends that randomly check on me or ask for us to meet up.... Anytime I'm on the phone he'll tell me "GET OFF"... but sometimes I do (b/c if we're hanging out i think that's sorta rude to be on the phone)...and sometimes I don't (b/c if we're driving... I could use the idle time)

Leo's are crazy ??.... permission? Omg is it that serious

When your at the bar with your friends send him a text to let him know your thinking of him and wish he was there with you.

Your not listening to what he needs. He told you he loves the extra attention. He doesn't want space, he wants to be smothered by you.

It's definitely not intentional but maybe it cause I dealt with a lot of airy men in the past... and he has a lot of air in his chart (just like mines)... so I guessed I was judging based on that, but now I know what and what not to do...

Coming from a leo female, I definitely like the extra attention from my partner. Also, if a partner or a close friend were to ignore me, it would make me go crazy and I would probably react quite irrationally or dramatically for a few hours until I calm down.

With regards to his text, I think he's jealous. Leos don't deal well with jealousy. I wouldn't consider myself as controlling, I allow my partner to do whatever he wants. However, when it comes to other girls, I definitely will make a fuss.
