My Aquarius Lover, I'm Confused?

I am a Gemini and my partner is an Aquarius. We've been dating for 7 months now and we've known each other for 2 years. The beginning of our relationship was perfect. No fights, no complications, no nothing. Until the last 3 months. We've been fighting off and on since.I am the more emotional one in the relationship and he is not, but he has his moments when he says sweet things. The last fight was a few weeks ago and we haven't fought since then and things have been nice *knock on wood*. We've been planning on moving in together in a few months since the beginning but I have yet to mention anything to him over the last two weeks about places I am looking at or have found interest in. I am hesitant to bring them up because I don't know if he is interested in talking about moving in together at the present moment. He is super busy with two jobs and we talk to each other and see each other when he has the time. When is it appropriate to bring up this subject again and how should I do it? Should I continue to wait for a while or what? I am unsure if he still plans on moving in with me or not. Can somebody help? Thanks!

Do not rush things. Let him decide, do not expect anything, but make sure he is not also looking somewhere else. As long as he is focused on you, he will choose you.

Look at it from a practical perspective.

If any of those places youve looked make it easier for him to work those two jobs, to commute for example, he will be more open to hearing your proposition.

If you talked about it im sure he hasnt forgotten or that it somehow "drifted" out of his mind.

Why is he doing two jobs btw? Is it maybe so you two can afford some nicer accomodations or he has debt that needs repaying?

Lay low and leave him alone. Aquarius hates to be pestered about the same thing over and over again. Most likely he hasn't forgotten about it so just let him breathe especially if things have been rocky.

Ok so back to OP. I'm going to give you a short answer and a long answer. Short answer: do not ask anything of an Aquarius and he will give you everything (if he loves you). Demand anything from him and he will rebel and give you nothing.

Long answer: Patience. Geminis have a tendency to be extremely controlling and impatient. When things aren't done at the moment you want them too, you guys are prone to petty tantrums to get what you want. An Aquarius will only *huff* at you, turn, and walk away to leave you as you are. Believe him when he makes an effort with you. Don't doubt him or he in turn will give you a reason to doubt him. If anything you can ask for a specific date when you guys can talk about moving in together, or if it's a go.

Says someone with a kid from a wrong relationship. Of course you have no reason to rush. Your maternal instincts are filled up. Whomever is extra, is extra. That's freedom.

Just show him one of the places you like. Say something like... wouldn't be nice to live here? Keep it very casual. Don't push him. And make sure that he doesn't think that you want to move there strait away. Only a way to start a nice conversation about where would you both like to move in the future.

I think that way you will get a feeling of what he thinks but he wouldn't feel pressure.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to move in with someone when the relationship isn’t solid. That’s a big commitment and a lot of work just for you to have to move out because your relationship is having problems- it will only make things worse. Fix those problems first, then consider moving in together

Asking us what he plans to do is an excercise in futility. You know him better than us.

All relationships are perfect in the beginning. And really, 7 months is still early on. People don't show their true selves until the 2 year mark, I believe.

I relate to your story a lot. We started talking about moving in the first year together. Than I got a job a few cities away and it got put on hold. We started talking about it again a year later, even started looking at places. But prices were higher then we planned for in the area that would split our commute evenly. Plus he's finishing up school and working full time and it didn't make sense to make his commute that much more difficult.

Thing is, if he's my future, there's no need to rush into living together. We have the next 50/60 years to live with each other.

I think for your situation it might be best to shelve the house hunt. Juggling two jobs and a relationship is stressful. Better to spend the energy on working on yourself/each other so that the communication doesn't lead to fighting. Once your relationship is in a better place and he is working less hours bring it back up.
