I have tinkerbell syndrome 😄

hahaha I'm not sure if you were joking, but i had to google it and there is such a thing!

Tinkerbell: a new female archetype
Both charming and unbearable, enchanting, bewitching and quick of mind??_ but manipulative and jealous with it! For the modern Tinkerbell, "Men are rarely up to their level," explains Sylvie Tenenbaum. That's one of the reasons why a number of suitors will be gravitating around our Tinkerbell. It would seem that she's saying yes, but in reality she is having a hard time choosing. That being said, Tinkerbell will beat mercilessly beat off any competition!

A Tinkerbell??s relationship behaviour is special, as she throws her magic dust into their eyes! A real charmer, she??ll make all the men believe that they are the —one?? but an established relationship won't follow??_ She rarely actually falls in love, or rather she won't allow herself to. Being beholding to a guy is a sign of weakness for her, which is why she is always —in control?? of her emotions.

And if by chance she does fall for someone, she will repress her emotions, and make the loved one's life hell as he tries to win her over. He??ll have to work for it, and if he doesn't make the grade, she??ll make him pay!

These women make sure they succeed professionally, and behave like men, socially and emotionally??_ They can also get angry (more the cold silent type), more related to a male emotion. The psychotherapist explains: "Without knowing it, the Tinkerbell is angry??_ against those people who don't like her for what she is, those who don't understand her, against life in general??_" In some cases, they make men pay for the love they haven't received from their own fathers.

..it is a very dysfunctional condition because they are often mammies boys and get stuck in boyhood, when they get into relationships they continue to act without maturity

*shivers*

Gemini man i dated fits your description perfectly, especially this part! Not a bad guy but i could not stand his mother and i was practically in a relationship with them both. Love a man that is close/good to his mother...not attached to her at the nipple

Ewwwwww, nothing worse is there? I cannot stand to be with a man that cannot square up to his mother, that is scared of her, not healthy. Yep the *breastfeeding* thing shouldnt continue on through their whole lifetime lol....but it does with quite a few men

sick

only worse thing is three of the pisces men i know who are the exact opposite...no respect for their mothers whastsoever and treat them poorly unless they want something. i actually think it's just a huge coincidence as i know pisces men who have nothing but respect for their moms (tons of pisceans in my life for some reason), but those three...now THAT is sickening

Every sign can be afflicted but I think it is stereotypically a virgo male thing. They are completely self centered and refuse to see the changes around them
some examples:
-michael jackson (the "peter pan syndrome" was invented for him lol)
-keanu reeves
-charlie sheen

Nah, MJ did not have "peter pan syndrome"....that was definitely a media thing...

Michal Jackson's energy screamed of boy trapped in adult male body
He was the ultimate Peter Pan

He wasn't though...check his brothers though and you'll see what "PPS" looks like...

I think the "peter pan syndrome" was invented specifically fro MJ, at least the term.
The term was coined in a 1983 book and at that time, I think MJ had already started mentionning peter pan as his model.

yeah, it comes from MJ literally saying "i am peter pan." His childlike behavior and desire for a real childhood was heart breaking. You can blame Joe Jackson for that one.

Yes indeed....no wonder he never wanted to grow up when his childhood was stolen from him ~ poor guy 😢

The Jacksons movie tells it all too. All MJ wanted was to have a normal childhood, but Joe Jackson would get whoop him when he wanted to play instead of practicing.

This syndrome is said to be most prevalent in the generation born in the late 1980s and 1990s where the development of a sense of responsibility allegedly does not occur nearly as early as it used to. Possibly contributing factors might include over-protectiveness of modern parents, rising costs of living, and increased difficulty in finding satisfactory partners.

This makes sense when thinking of my little brother. Born in 1989. I swear... he thinks momma is supposed to solve all his problems, pay his bills, yada yada. Only thing that has saved his ass sorta is being Aquarius BUT good grief 0.0
My mom sorta spoiled the shit out of us all though BUT HIM ESPECIALLY -_-

He's the baby....
Scorpio moms lol...
If Scorpio moms are supposed to be strict mine isn't. BUT you better do what she asks you to do or your going to have one pissed off person who will hold that grudge on your ass for who knows how long LMAO!!
