But I'd still tell other people they are threatening their own lives if it gets too out of hand/intense.
You can't be forced into staying with someone. It will only create resentment in the long run.

If she's threatening to kill herself, you have to tell them you're not happy & that continuing to be in a relationship that is beyond repair is emotionally harmful for the both of you.
