Does Saying Thanks for Everything Mean Goodbye

No, saying thanks for everything usually expresses gratitude and appreciation rather than an ending. It can be a way to acknowledge positive moments without implying breakup or distance. Context and tone are important to understand the true meaning behind the phrase.

You just had an argument with your partner and it is not a big fight..And you texted him you are sorry and then you said thanks for everything , in it's real meaning. Literally, you just want to say thank you to him for being nice and this and that.

Does it mean i am ending the relationship?

Depends if you're holding a fidget spinner or not.

I've actually done this. It does sound like a goodbye but you should follow it up saying you are genuinely thankful and not actually saying goodbye. It can be a really sweet gesture.

If I got the text

"Thanks for everything "

I'd think it was over for sure.. specially after an argument.. like saying bye, but for good..

Like @AerialView said,

It's a passive aggressive way of saying,

THANKS FOR NOTHING!

If you didn't want it to end, I suggest you explain yourself as others said also.
