our thoughts go everywhere and we are not focused,

I have the most Sag quote of all time I just stumbled into the other day, for you.

Sorry I was just trying to find it
"Nothing so clearly reveals the superior mind of man than his having been able to unmask nature at the precise point where it was attempting to deceive him"

well, that's very sophisticated.
yes, people we have a conversation with can challenge us and force us to unmask us, our thoughts, or our believes if we have some.
hope I got it right.
do you think you've been provoking to a Sag at some point and they betterd themselves during the conversation?
... true objectivity doesn't exist, and that the point of philosophy is to recognise the line between believing the illusion of objectivity and our own reality. Nature is one of the biggest traps in losing this dividing line since, once we reach out and grab anything from the natural environment around us, we relate to it only on our terms and we're now taken it out of nature into our own world.

As for Sags, of the two I know, I can't remember ever having provoked them into bettering themselves.

Posted by aquarius_manPosted by DwellingOnMoveit depends, im always provoking and poking, and not necessarily in a polite manner. am an agent provocateur. my favourite quote in life comes from a sagit and its the motto of a book written by another sagit - when i read the book i thought the guy was an aquarius, so many similarities
Is it Aqua? cause not attacking but friendly provoking?
well, I have Aqua in my 3rd. so it is not that difficult for me to talk to Aqua brains/egos in real life. So that my mind comes to more than it would do all alone.
what about you? sag fellows?
here's the quote: 'When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.'

โKnowledge is the comprehensive embodiment of imagination that surfaces in observation and finally ripens through the reinforcement of experience thereby inculcating knowledge. This in fact is the short story of life.โ โ Q.M. Sidd, A Dance in Melancholy: A Collection of My Articles and Memoirs

Posted by tizianiPosted by DwellingOnMoveOriginally (and probably still now on first draft) I wrote very poetic English. It was a good fit for something like astrology or philosophy but a bad fit the other areas I work in now.Posted by tiziani

you for sure force me each time to read the text a couple of times. maybe cause you write in real English. usually I follow also other people's answers to you to see what the original saying could have been about.
do you think you write a "literature English"? what kind of English do you write? or what did people say to you? (you can answer later too. I understand that it is saturday and we might be in the middle of planing and doing of grosseries etc. ) [ok, it is groceries :-) ]
Then, through work, with the tools I learnt in writing I made an effort to be more prosaic. And not just from work, but also from learning and thinking in Italian which threw me back to when I grew up in French. You've probably experienced something similar with mixing languages?
I kind of miss writing more poetic but it is what it is.click to expand

Hmmm interesting. I am a Sag sun but 12th house. I think it took me a long time to embrace my sag ๐ my two most dominant signs are Cap, than aqua. I am Cap Mercury.
I am distracted and move from one thing to another if it doesn't hold my interest. But in mid-life (yes it took that long), it was time to embrace change, put all the pieces together, and explore myself.. the observation skills of my Cap, the desire for change of aqua, and sag I suppose.. it's just a little embracing it & seeing where it leads. The road, path, journey whatever you call it. I've been told I learn quickly by many sources, different than others. Well I take it step by step ( that's the Cap) but exploring everything I can. Distraction is part of it, it is not necessarily a bad thing.

Posted by RindarooPosted by DwellingOnMoveDown to earth answers? Not necessarily. Sometimes the answer is to jump off the cliff & see what happens. I don't really do so well with that.. the Cap in me wants to take it slowly so we are sure first. But sometimes you just have to push through the fear ๐ my Sag & Cap argue all the time ?Posted by Rindaroo

so you've come to down-to-earth answers each time your sagie philosopher wanted to know?
