My Sag Mercury is actually interested in knowing more and digging deeper.

But I got the feeling that Scorpio cannot trigger my mind to get more out of my thoughts. Probably cause the sign is my (or somewhat our) 12th house color. so I might go into a defensive mode and not be interested in staying in the same place. or claiming the other person does not aim to make me think. he/she just wants to show how shallow I am.

PS: I know the Scorps can come and say, we cannot help if you're insecure little mouse. but still I am alive and speak for myself. still as a weak man. whateva... woman

Sorry I was just trying to find it

"Nothing so clearly reveals the superior mind of man than his having been able to unmask nature at the precise point where it was attempting to deceive him"

well, that's very sophisticated.

yes, people we have a conversation with can challenge us and force us to unmask us, our thoughts, or our believes if we have some.

hope I got it right.

do you think you've been provoking to a Sag at some point and they betterd themselves during the conversation?

... true objectivity doesn't exist, and that the point of philosophy is to recognise the line between believing the illusion of objectivity and our own reality. Nature is one of the biggest traps in losing this dividing line since, once we reach out and grab anything from the natural environment around us, we relate to it only on our terms and we're now taken it out of nature into our own world.

very funny. it was my thought this morning when I was out of home and go from one place to the other just to ran into a new encounter.

That reminded me of the claim of the "how I met your mother" that things go a certain way for a certain reason. Khalil Jibran mentioned, "maktub".

from there I thought we tell stories where we have omitted lots of things while observation, could we see only things related to us. as if things are there to serve us and just to be added to our possessions. in actuality our brain is small and we build mnemonics to keep the memory|data of the observed events|objects in our mind.

no wonder that that made us believe in "destiny" and "maktub". my neighbours are a Gem-Aqua couple. they find it strange how they came together.

but in the morning I told myself: that is how we do it, and that is good enough, and everybody can start with it. don't be agressive towards it. cause in the older days I was critisizing why people seek "use" in everything. or "sense".

As for Sags, of the two I know, I can't remember ever having provoked them into bettering themselves.

you for sure force me each time to read the text a couple of times. maybe cause you write in real English. usually I follow also other people's answers to you to see what the original saying could have been about.

do you think you write a "literature English"? what kind of English do you write? or what did people say to you? (you can answer later too. I understand that it is saturday and we might be in the middle of planing and doing of grosseries etc. ) [ok, it is groceries :-) ]

Is it Aqua? cause not attacking but friendly provoking?

well, I have Aqua in my 3rd. so it is not that difficult for me to talk to Aqua brains/egos in real life. So that my mind comes to more than it would do all alone.

what about you? sag fellows?
it depends, im always provoking and poking, and not necessarily in a polite manner. am an agent provocateur. my favourite quote in life comes from a sagit and its the motto of a book written by another sagit - when i read the book i thought the guy was an aquarius, so many similarities

here's the quote: 'When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.'

yeah, this is an old pain. the famous resistance against change. 11th is house of changes too. they wait for "innovation" to happen by the help of pioneers (like Aries) until it gets a custom, then they agree.

I like that kind of provocation where the outcome is not clear at the beginning. everything is open and possible and unknown. this is what the 11th house offers.

this year I adjusted to the transit Jupiter in my 11th, as "your luck resides in the unknown". and many things went a good way for me. my life changed a lot to a better position.

^^^ wrong calculations and as a result wrong actions.

for example people learned the wrong lecture from Darwin and the 1st world war, and smoothed a way for the second world war.

I read recently how Freund lost his two sons in the WWI and came to the theory that we have a drive for agression. Even though Einstein wrote to him and asked what we can do to prevent a similar experience, he did not get the point. He answered it is what it is and we have to live with it. Nazists said "life is fight".

Now in studies women were given placebo assuming they have more testestoron by it. They displayed more agression. The belief made it. Wrong patterns were fed or trained.

Originally (and probably still now on first draft) I wrote very poetic English. It was a good fit for something like astrology or philosophy but a bad fit the other areas I work in now.

Then, through work, with the tools I learnt in writing I made an effort to be more prosaic. And not just from work, but also from learning and thinking in Italian which threw me back to when I grew up in French. You've probably experienced something similar with mixing languages?

I kind of miss writing more poetic but it is what it is.

Hmmm interesting. I am a Sag sun but 12th house. I think it took me a long time to embrace my sag ๐Ÿ™‚ my two most dominant signs are Cap, than aqua. I am Cap Mercury.

I am distracted and move from one thing to another if it doesn't hold my interest. But in mid-life (yes it took that long), it was time to embrace change, put all the pieces together, and explore myself.. the observation skills of my Cap, the desire for change of aqua, and sag I suppose.. it's just a little embracing it & seeing where it leads. The road, path, journey whatever you call it. I've been told I learn quickly by many sources, different than others. Well I take it step by step ( that's the Cap) but exploring everything I can. Distraction is part of it, it is not necessarily a bad thing.

so you've come to down-to-earth answers each time your sagie philosopher wanted to know?

today my Gemini and Aqua neighbours challenged my thoughts. they said:

1) I am easy to read

and

2) I should socialize more. at least seek out astro people.

I didn't want to tell them that I have dxpnet.

so are real life astrologers as good as the gifs addicted dxpers?

I got the impression that the real life astrologers are as dry as Lindaland et al.

so how come young people want to teach me things when they are all wasted in their smart phones? ok, I might be arrogant now.

but this is what you think of your efforts. how would another sign judge or challenge it? have you ever gotten feedback from a Cap? a Scorpio? a Leo?

Down to earth answers? Not necessarily. Sometimes the answer is to jump off the cliff & see what happens. I don't really do so well with that.. the Cap in me wants to take it slowly so we are sure first. But sometimes you just have to push through the fear ๐Ÿ™‚ my Sag & Cap argue all the time ?

Ah hahha, I know that very well. I have South Node Cap which often loses to Sag Stellium. But less in money matters.
