Possible Pregnancy / Abortion

Hello,

You can find my threads here about a Sag and I. But to cut a long story short: we dated 6 months, he was not ready for a relationship and I wanted more. So I stopped our 'relationship' beggining of January.

On the last day we were together we had sex. Unprotected. Unprotected for the first time. He didn't come inside me. After that we parted ways and never spoke again. I'm not over him yet and I think about him often, but it is what it is.

Anyway, I had my period after we had sex. All good. But last week I started bleeding in between periods. Which is not normal. This was lasting for 5 days. I even did a pregnancy check just in case which came negative. But because this sort of bleeding is not normal, I went to the doctor today.

So the doctor said this could be an abortion or a out of the uterus pregnancy, as she doesnt see a pregnancy inside the uterus via the ultrasound. Or, if none of those, I need to wait for my period to come again and do another check to see what else it can be.

I collected blood and she will call me in the next days if there is something wrong (such as pregnancy or abortion). She says if she doesnt call, just to wait for my period, to see if the situation relurizes itself and take it from there. Then maybe make a follow up appointment. If I have any sort of pain I should go there immediatly she says.

So now I have to wait a few days. Apparently from blood tests she can see if it was an abortion as well.

To be honest, after reading what outside of uterus pregnancy is, I hope this is an abortion. It can be other things as well, but those are her first guesses.

Question: do I involve the Sag in this? Do I tell him what Im going through? I have nothing conclusive to say anyway. We are not together and we dont speak for 7 weeks now. Do I wait for the results? Shall I just keep this to myself?

I'm not sure if regaining contact with him will help me at all now that I got used to the distance. I dont think what good he can do with this information either. At the same time I am also worried, and he might be a part of whatever is happening to me.

Your thoughts?

I think you should just keep it to yourself until you know exactly what it is. If it is ectopic then you can decide later if you want to involve him or not

Wow this actually just happened to me, too. I was being careful with a hookup but it didn't occur to me that I got my "period" two weeks early. About a month later, I had a new partner who I wasn't safe with but I took the morning after pill. At the end of the month, I realized I should of been due for a period but it never came. I felt every single pregnancy symptom and I knew it. I got two positive test and went to a clinic for an ultrasound. It only measured 5 weeks gestational age and wasn't viable. Therefore, it wasn't clear if I was pregnant from the first guy and I had a miscarriage which hadn't expelled yet or if it was the second guy and I wasn't far enough along to have a heartbeat.

The day I got my ultrasound I thought I had faint pink spotting but I thought I was just anxious and imagining things. A week went by and I started spotting and cramping. It got heavier so I went to the ER to see what was going on. I had a positive test but they didn't see anything during an ultrasound. They predicted it was a miscarriage seeing that my hormones were too low for a nine week pregnancy or three week.

I thought it was the second guy (Aquarius) and I immediately told him and I was going to go through with an abortion. He was completely unsupportive and turned into a hateful person towards me. I also told the first guy (Capricorn) and he was supportive and kind through it all. The only reason I decided to tell them was because I was actually positive and it was certain. If you're skeptical and unsure if you are or not then I would wait until you find out. I know how it feels to kind of deal with it alone, but if he reacts anything like the first guy then it would cause more unnecessary stress which you don't need right now. If you do decide to tell him just be prepared for either reaction.

It's a lot to deal with alone, so if you need anyone to talk to then I'll be here for you 🙂

From what i know , outside of uterus pregnancy is very painful. If i read your post correct then it is not the case here . Second thing how can u even doubt that you are pregnant if you had your periods . You had it twice and yes out of the cycle but that happens sometimes .

FYI outside of uterus pregnancy has more implantation bleeding so may be thats y your doctor could have doubted that but like i said it is accompanied with lot of pain.

What a situation you got yourself into! But shit happens sometimes.

In what ways was the Aquarius unsopportive? Did you tell him that there was someone else involved?

Can you still get pregnant?

I have actually been feeling very weird. I thought I was pregnant before even doing the test. My friend told me to not think about it, that spotting was normal, but I knew something was not right. So I could feel something too. It was not spotting, it was bleeding. But then the pharmacy test came negative.

But for the time being Im unsure. Have to wait for the blood results.

I dont have any reason to think he would be unsupportive. He was always a ver polite, family oriented guy. But Im not so sure speaking to him would help now. I just came from the doctor and Im confused. Not sure how he can support me, apart from listening to me.

I dont think it will show that I am pregnant. But becuse the doctor came up with that scneario, and after reading what that is, now Im scared it could be.

I told the doctor I had my period. And that the pharmacy test came negative. The way Im bleeding now is not a period. It is bleeding full on, looks different from period.

I have some pain since last week. She asked me the same. But as I told the doctor, it is not the sort of pain that stops me from coming to work. It is more the type of pain I have when Im on my period, on my lower belly.

I even asked her if it is not abortion or pregnancy, what can this be? But she insisted we see those 2 options first.

However, if it is indeed an abortion, he needs to know.. you did it together, you deal with it together..

You can still get pregnant even if he cum outside, thru his pre cum.. my 2 cents ?

If I was to choose between those 2 options, I would rather this to be an abortion. Then it is done and dusted.

I have to wait for the blood tests. It can be there is neither, but as those are the main options the doctor wants to follow...I freaked out a bit. Im getting calmer now 🙂

She gave me the same lecture...just because he didnt come inside you.... yeah, I know that. But less chances I would say.

I think you are not pregnant now , even if you were . Also out of cycle periods are normal sometimes. But yes its good that you are consulting a doc on time. Just in case if at all it is something then you are right on time to deal with things .

Pregnancy cramps could be similar to period cramps so difficult to differentiate .

If i calculate your dates and if your cycle is 28 days then considering you were with the guy during beginning of jan then too its time that pregnancy could be easily detected in an ultrasound (yes provided its in uterus)

Yes, whatever it is im relified I went to the doctor. Because this is not my period. My period finished on the 16th of Feb. And I started spotting on the 22nd and heavily bleeding on the 23th. Only now, the 28th it started to decrease. Whatever this was, was not my period. Let's see.

Aqua dude just kept pressuring me to get an abortion. I was in a weird state of mind so I didn't want anyone to influence my decision. He was trying to get back with his ex girlfriend and after I told him I had a positive test he blocked me on all social media and got really nasty towards me when I asked for some support. The both of them knew about the other. I was honest with them.

I'm not going to get pregnant ever again.. haha. I was safe both times except that one time and I took plan b. Just wow. It might be implantation bleeding.. it happens about two weeks after your period I think. Hence, why I got my "period" early. It would be too early to test.

If you were having an ectopic pregnancy then you would know. It's incredible painful and you get pain in your neck and shoulders.

Good to hear an ectopic pegnancy gives you unmissible symptoms. I didnt even know what that is, but it scared the hell out of me.

No, I dont want to speak to him. When I was in the doctor with so many emotions running through me I was thinking I had to speak to him.

Now logically speaking, no... There is nothing he can say to help out. Im more concerned with my body than him.

Had no doctor call today. This is my 8th day spotting, no longer bleeding now, just spotting. Nothing like this has ever happened to me and Im very anxious to find out what this is all about.

Keep it to yourself UNTIL the doctor comes back with a definitive answer. If it's a pregnancy than you need to tell him.
