This "last warning" is another step in a chain of wrong reactions. You are "involved". You need to get out of "involvement".

I had three cases of people who disturbed me by their contacts. In all 3 cases no restraining order was necessary to finish the misery.
The first case: we had only one phone talk which I agreed to. Then I did not want him to call me. But he did. So I let my phone unplugged at nights. No answer machine, no message box.
The second case: a friend of a mutual friend. He left messages on my box, more than one. This made me never call him back. That made him call again and again. For months. Eventually he grew up and stopped calling me.
The third one was my Virgo boss (Sag Moon, Scorp Venus). There was times I hid myself when I was waiting for the bus. In this story I was involved more than I'd welcome. Finally I left my workplace.
My conclusion: the more I was involved the longer and more difficult it was to get rid of it.
Involvement:: maintain feeling for what they do; try to convince them; talk to them and be nice; talk to them and be definitely not nice; disturb your own life to get rid of them like hiding, moving, changing number etc.
Not involvement: ignore, ignore, ignore. no feelings, no thoughts. looking forwards with life issues.
My sister had a stalker. I know that she was involved too much cause she has Mercury-Pluto-conjunction and is forced to talk, write and convince them all.

pretty much. what you need to do is talk to him. he wants to talk. use logic instead of your feelings.. talk to the dude get in his head so you can figure out how he can leave you alone wihtou getting cops involved. for some reason if hes smart enough to trace your whereabouts then the smart thing would be to meet at the roundtable and come to a mutual agreement but I could be buggin.. most women don't know how to be diplomatic so they fly off the handle and do weird shit but I digress.

Met a cool Sag on a online dating site; we never met, just had a few cool conversations Sag has been phone stalking me ever since. For 2 years Sagittarius followed me from one coast to coast illegally obtaining 9 different unlisted home numbers and addresses within days. The Sag calls every other day sits on the phone in silence. I need a landline for business so I got caller id, I just stopped answering blocked calls, the SAG just won't stop. I disconnected my phone Sag started harassing my elderly cancer-stricken relative with nonstop daily calls. BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE TRICK -ASS MUTHA FUCKER WOULD GET THE MUTHA FUCKING HINT! BUT HE A FUCKING PERSISTENT ASS. I just kept the phone unplugged, moved, changed the number, changed the number, didn't answer didn't answer blocked numbers. But I have moved again and within 3 days he found me AND I FUCKING TIRED. In addition I didn't want to go to the police station and file a fucking report. So laziness, and just assuming that he would eventually move the fuck on. But he won't.
This is draining, wearing me down. But fuck that!

In some cases our exes deserve to be heard because they have been part of our life. But these two never met. So he has no right on further clarification. He must be ready for all cases even the case that she be a cat fish.

That seems weak and egoistic at the same time. Of course they can survive that rejection. But their brain doesn't see that potential. When the brain loses balance due to obsession (even if it is for justice and human rights), the worst thing we can do is to feed in the same subject. So that it can further expand the spaghetti code.
In order to help the brain from the obsession, the feed source must become dry.
You see this with parents when a child is in obsession mode. The child might cry, scream and do the craziest things but parents do not change their tactic. This way the child learns what it is to give up and trust the authority.
A stalker brain can only get out of that scheme with the help of time and "no new feed". After many repeatition and failure it notices new lessons are necessary. The character grows.
Summary: he does not deserve more than one session. To hear that she does not want to hear from him (obligatory) and why (optional).

I think women feed their stalkers out of different reasons.
It could be
fear,
sympathy,
self-sabotage,
or even
narcissism.
Yes, there can also be women who enjoys having a stalker cause that makes them feel important. They can tell their friends stories. They can be very unfriendly to the guy and belittle him. Or make him angry. But this is a dangerous case of psycho-meets-psycho.
I think most women start feeding it by sympathy, then continue with fear, then self-sabotage ... until...

Definitely file charges on this dude, especially if he knows where you or your relatives and friends live. I have no hope of the cancer dude going away and you shouldn't automatically think that your dude will ever give up either. You need to protect yourself because he has a whole life time to make decisions on how crazy he's willing to act. Maybe one day he'll decide to physically harm you. You need to take whatever actions you can to prevent that.

That is just as annoying as threats, good you filed the paperwork. Filing a temporary restraining order is free is some states, you will get a temporary restraining order, but within 2-3 weeks you will get a hearing. Then either you or an attorney will have to court.
