SS: that's true and also america has such a huge population that the stats are going to look worse but i tell you that in overall terms, the british have FAR more problems per capita than just about anywhere in the world imo.
i like americans more than the british if it's any compensation?
oh yeah, and you reminded me of another thing i like about the U S of fuckingA - MACDONALDS!!!! YAY FOR RONDALD MACDONALD.
UN CUARTO DE LIBRO CON QUESO Y PATATA FRITAS (REGULAR) Y UN CERVEZA POR FAVOR.
they do BEER in the MacD's here. not in the UK though where you have to PAY for ketchup!!!
mind you, you couldn't exactly call it 'fast' food in spain LOL!!! takes AAAAAAAAGES!
OH!!! i forgot the HOFF!!! hey - he's MASSIVE in germany ::rolls eyes:: he is soooo camp, he's great. i want to get one of those leather biker jackets he wears with the flickering lights all over it LOL!!
"i like americans more than the british if it's any compensation?"
HAHA! Britain is a country that has always had a lot of turmoil, but I think that's why I'm so fascinated by their history. Oh, the DRAMA!
I understand why people from other countries dislike Americans. Our government is very arrogant and apparently skipped class the day diplomacy was discussed. That attitude is, unfortunately, expressed by some of the citizens, also. But not all.
"Then what are all those songs doing on your playlist?"
I know. That Beethoven! What a talentless slacker!
Actually, I don't have any grunge on my playlist. The only thing remotely close is NIN, and they were technically industrial metal. Most of the other stuff predates grunge by a decade or two. 🙂
"I wouldnt know lol. I wasnt around a thousand years ago"
LOL I wasn't around in the 60s either, but I still love a lot of bands from that era, and earlier. Don't limit yourself to the present so much. You're doing yourself a disservice.
But that doesn't mean that every single person here eats Big Macs all day long, shops at Lane Bryant and never goes to the gym.
