er. no. no significance whatsoever. why should there be? why would we want to mutilate ourselves for no apparent reason?

Also, many men hate that they were circumsized, and had no say in it. It's another unnecessary mutilation. If that's what they want later, let them decide for themselves, as an adult. Some men have sued their doctors or have even had surgery to replace it. Not easy though. Religion doesn't cut it either, exuse pun..lol (i really think people should leave each other's bodies alone and stop chopping things off, for the sake of their own insecurities, lack of knowledge or cultural bias.)

When men hit on me, which is rare, since I'm usually with my husband when out and about, but, it does happen from time to time ...... and it's usually younger men who are attracted to a woman of experience who still looks hot at nearly 50.
Once a woman hits a certain age, then she becomes sought after for her sexual expertise .... so, this kind of surgery would put her at a great disadvantage if she were out sniffing around.

what is the point in paying for surgery to replace your hymen only to have it broken the very next time you have sex? it's not the same as a boob job at all!!! it's not even remotely a 'cosmetic' procedure imo.

I'd honestly only elect for the surgery if I lost it due to extreme circustances, where having sex wasnt my choice and I personally held my virginity in high regard....but even then it would make me feel like a phony.

It's certainly not for me... And i'm disgusted by the whole female circumcision issue, and to think those women do it to the young ones when they would know how it felt...You'd think they would want to save the young ones from having to go through such torture. Prisoners become institutionalized and cannot function outside of confinement.
Battered-wives stay with their spouses, protect and LOVE thier man.
In the few above examples ... all of these people can't recognize when they suffer or when they see others suffer within this same condition as being any kind of unwarranted infliction. In fact, they don't see it as an infliction at all, meaning .. they have no concept of enduring something that is unacceptable, as we would deem it to be tormenting .. because they have no awareness, from being oppressed, that anything exists outside of this .. like a child being raised in a religious cult.
