For Scorpios to win in battle, the Scorpio should just go on and on about their feelings and analyze every bit of detail and eventually, the Leo will start yawning. At this point, the Scorpio should talk about what's wrong with the Leo personality but go really in depth about it until you see the Leo eyeing the door for an escape route. Proceed another 20 minutes and when the Leo leaves, you've conquered the Leo who will never want to be subjected to 'deep' conversation again with you again.

Yes, your most likely right, but a leo will seldom take such advice....treading carefully around scorpions is for the cowardly. Run away? Can't do it. Contrary to what The Scorpion King said. But I do actually like this prickly little scorpio. (I would have to, I suppose, he's so...well...prickly) Exactly like The Scorpion King!
Seriously, I think that they do share an honest respect for one another....AND a secret desire to dominate. WEll, at least with scorpio it's a secret, with the Lion, it's more or less obvious.

roy - it's an inside joke that I've remembered since I was 11 years old. I love it and I use it a lot for screen names and stuff.

Sun_in_Leo - backing down isn't the same as running away. I know that Leos don't like to come across as cowards, but sometimes backing off is the best way to win a situation. I learned that somehow in my short life, despite my Leo pride, etc.
As for the mutual respect, it depends.
