Understanding Taurus and Scorpio Relationship Dynamics

I'm a scorpio sun/libra moon. He's a Taurus sun/ libra moon. I like everything about him and it seems to be mutual. We dated in 2014 but i left him cuz he was emotionally unavailable. Now we're older and we've tried again and everything is going great. We function like a couple. 10s in all areas I even have the key to his apartment. We're on month 4. Even my bff asked what would be the difference between now & then I said idk. I told him & he even said she has a point lol. But I still don't know what he's waiting for. soooooo - just let it go - actions speak volumes - he sounds sort of like he just can't be totally committed to this in his head even though all his actions say he is - it's like admitting it would cause a ripple effect in the space / time continuum or some sheet ... men ! ...
I could tell you what I would do and that is to pull back and not be so "committed" myself - because then if anything happens on his end, you are not so "invested" ... I wouldn't cheat, not that - just pull back on the "feels" ... but that is me and my O

Yessss omg lol. So what I was gonna do was give him til December cuz that's 6 months we'd have been dating. I feel like if I do have to pull back it may just turn me off from the whole thing because I'll feel like why do I even have to go through these measures for you to give me my respect. My bday is in about 2 weeks and then comes holiday season so I was gonna wait to see what he'll do then. You think it's a good idea to give him until december or am I just wasting time?

Also, he does do everything I want and need like I have no complaints. Anything I ask he does it. This is the only thing I'm like hmmm about.

Okay I'm going to try not to be a pussy and tell him. It's come up in subtle ways but I'm just scared of looking like I'm pushing or forcing. Maybe because the first time around I brought up the relationship thing and I didn't like his answer so I left. This time he does treat me really well but idk what's going on here still.

You can sleep with him but you can't talk to him?
If you ask a direct question, you'll get a direct answer.
With my partner I told him what I was looking for and then asked him if he was on board.
If he wasn't then we could have ended it right then without any hurt feelings. There seems no sense in dragging it out.
I think 4 months is long enough to discuss what you are both looking for. Jesus, some people do it on the first date.
