Thats exactly why I watch it, it’s relatable.
The ending felt like season 8 of game of thrones.
Like they just gave up
Probably too traumatized to finish.
Is it just me who loved the ending? looked very realistic to me, is there a season 3 tho? Cause I felt like some issues were left unresolved.
No didn’t love the ending.
Peacemaker already did the instrument playing monologue.
The only realistic part was when Mary told homegirl, it’s only the beginning. Truer words have never been spoken
I haven't even started it yet because I keep reading how bad it is with drugs and how Zendaya is a natural at being a crack head lol That was enough to get me to pass on it.
Cancers are something else 🤣
Nate(Jacob Elordi) has Sun, Merc, and Venus in Cancer.
If “crimes of passion” was a person

They’re right.
I long for the days of Saved by the Bell and Brenda & Dylan McKay.
I don’t like how they are making drug use look beautiful. It’s the casting for me. You cast a pretty girl like Zendaya on drugs and you’re going to get what you asked for.
This show as also produced by Drake & Future
Two scorpios unleashing their dark side.
It is too Plutonian

Glad to know I'm not missing much then. Thanks for reaffirming 🙂
None of you watched American Pie? Dazed and confused? Love and Basketball? I mean, we watched Monica lose her virginity after prom. I don’t understand the faux outrage.
Have you watched the show?
Yes I saw all of those.
Idk, I missed the part in Dazed and Confused where some 11y/o had an arsenal of weapons in a porcelain bathtub for a shoot out with police.
I definitely missed the part in Love n Basketball where Omar Epps played Russian roulette with Sanaa Latham under the basketball net.
Send me the timestamps
How realistic can it be ? I mean do they show her becoming a victim of sex trade for drugs at motel rooms. Then getting caught up with a pimps. Then human trafficking. On n out of juvi Or is it glamorized
Was low key disappointed Nate didn't shoot his pops. All the build up with the gun.
Also disappointed they didn't show the rest of the play. I was invested, best part of the season was that locker room dance/song number. Glorious.
I don’t even really feel like it glamorizes drug use either. I don’t want to give away too much of the show but nearly everything falls back to Rue. Even the season finale is Rues fault. To me the message is look at the destruction addicts cause. She’s really the only one on drugs.
Agreed! But teenagers are not as bright as us

I was strictly speaking about the explicit sex scenes between characters that are playing teens. I thought that’s what the outrage was about.
You’re saying it’s the violence that is more upsetting?

The Russian roulette really turned things up a notch.
Idk, I feel like a middle aged Karen who thinks everything is too loud

Yeah I agree it felt unfinished for me too, but the thing that I really didn't like the most was the no elaboration on Kat's story with Ethan and that breakup scene was unfair to her character.

True. I wanted more of her dominatrix ego boost story to continue. They just made it about the 2 pretty girls fighting over a boy, boring.
Loved it

This show is nonstop trauma and I don’t like that I watch it
