One of my sons mom is a cancer sun and she ridiculously clingy. That's the reason we never stayed together. She didn't want me going anywhere by myself and always wanted to come along.
At first I thought I liked the clingyness but it ended up suffocating me. We maintain contact due to my son but I have to end the conversation because she crosses the line and comes on to me knowing I'm married with another son.
What I did like about clingyness is that it led to sex much quicker.

Earth and water make mud that also my make em cling or attach it depends on who that person is and if he's or she's compatible like display of affections.

I can be clingy but I prefer to give freedom and they give me freedom. It's when I'm feeling insecure I get all panicky and cling wrap. That's when I sense I'm being used or they are detaching for some reason. If I see it's a loss I withdraw and do my own thing to get my mind off the dickwad.

Most people aren't ready for how I truly feel, because both Leo suns and Scorpio moons are the kings at hiding how they truly feel. So what I truly feel is normally the total opposite of what my timid friendly Cancer rising is showing the world.
