Fat people want to lose weight because social norms pushed and forced them into losing weight, otherwise they suffer from backlash such as being undesirable to other people when seeking a partner for instance, and health issues
Men seek women and vice versa because it's biological, it's in our genes and nature to seek for a partner to settle down and reproduce. That's basic biology and every other living being on the planet that can reproduce does it, aside from those asexual ones
People buy new cars because it's worth it? They want to feel good and reward themselves? Maybe their car is breaking down anyways and its more efficient to change to a new one?
All those are different from changing the state of mind, which is a very hard thing to do and to let alone demand people into changing. I skimmed...good points about the movies and chasing the women and letting them come to you. Me and a dude were talking about that not too long ago. It can get to needing to be lowkey to try to keep from attracting women. Maybe for a season or whatever because of priorities or whatnot. I agree with the concept of forget trying to change women too. Like the MGTOW threads. Why a movement to be single? If part of it is to make women give into some demands, forget that part of it. I find being single and minding my own and being cautious and not really worrying about it to be a good strategy for me.

It's about investment. You invest and explore the relationship the game or what I call the dance. When you get older, you realise not chasing as a man after a certain point isn't about messing with their heads it's to gauge their actual interest in you periodically. They will do the same. If someone doesn't reciprocate then you move on. Don't waste time.
After a while you both get serious and start really digging deeper at the other and reevaluating. You both start looking at the other's long term prospects and fit into each others lives. Usually after the cloud9 stage. If you survive that stage after cloud9 and you commit, you need to work on keeping the fire/energy and connection going. That takes effort and their will be good days and bad days in the relationship just like in life. Stress in life happens often and is the true shit test of a relationship.
The point is... A lot of men are chasing women without ANY reciprocation from her end, they are going through hell trying get one girl because they think that's what they are supposed to do....
