I've never dated a black guy... its been a wonder and now, an epiphany.
This world's crazy.
I actually have the same texture you have. I thought the same thing. But there are black men who love natural hair.
Ive had plenty of brothas love caressing my hair and scalp. Super turned on to be able to run their hands in my head during fellatio.
Theyre out there. But remember the ideal of white beauty runs deep with both sexes. Men have been conditioned to like the white standard of beauty. Women try to attain the european standard.

Apparently, its because of my hair.I'm black, 5"5 and have 4C hair on my crown and 4b at my nape. I've had my fro on for a long time, threading, heat stretching or hot combing it for consistency sometimes. It never came to me - ever - that white guys preferred natural hair on black women. Whereas, black men preferred relaxed or texturized hair!
And, here I was, wondering why I never turned the heads of the brothas.
Natural sisters - anyone feeling the love...

Interesting, but I have noticed that black women dating white men are full of pride - they wear their hair natural, they accentuate their features, they wear ethnic clothing, they are aware of their roots...But usually black women with black men relax their hair. What is moot to the topic is the number of black men dating white women in the DC area. Unless, of course, a whole lot of black women wear their hair naturally there.
If, even one white guy is dating a black girl with relaxed hair in the south, then it shows location is, also, moot.

Actually, I've never stressed about the little details, but I agree there are probably a million reasons why. Of course, I wondered about it all at some point, but it was hubby who sparked off this latest line of thought after watching a YouTube video where black men said they preferred relaxed and texturized hair to natural hair.
I wear my hair in sew ins alot. I do let my natural hair breathe in between style s. No relaxer nothing. Shoulder length hair 4c goodness and all the white people flock to me but not a head turn from black men. I notice it but then again, non blacks treat me like I'm in a petting zoo and I'm in corporate America.

We talking at work a lot (I am just listening because it is opening whole new world for me) about black women being mocca or cream or pale or tons of different colors and I am like bulging my eyes and they always laugh at me!
And they always arguing which flava men prefer...however 3 darkest once are married. Others are just looking. Though the darkest one has the most spunky attitude! They all are gorgeous! So if I was a man I wouldn't see pale vs mocca...I wouldn't know whom to pick (like do I have to pick? lol)
So one fattest and least attractive lady just left because she got a new high paying job and getting married so she didn't have to work anymore!
Its all in attitude. Your worries about your hair blocking your everything you can give out!
In my child HS there were many pretties that were unsure of themselves and moaning about no men in their lives. White, black and others...
I will never forget this abnormally fat girl (if I was her parent I would put her in facility for health reason) and she was the nicest person LOVED by whole school! Putting her next to the 'beauties' with no 'following' - you would be wondering WHAT— Attitude! Personality! I am nice and if you look at my shape - its your issue and mot my problem.

The other black men were unattractive rejects all through life, black women didn't want them anyway. They have to buy women. Those relationships never end well. The white women usually leaves the black guy and takes half his money.
This isn't to do with attractiveness, but mentality or attitude.
I've been in situations where black women have been in my face, usually due to either a misunderstanding or disagreement. Often, black women have a problem with backing down or compromising (and that black female aggression just worsens the situation). Women of other races would have been more graceful in the very same situation.
You're obviously missing the point and women who act like door mats are at the opposing end of the spectrum. Some black men simply want someone in between the two extremes. Unfortunately, many black women are unable to provide this.
No, I'm just clarifying your point. But it doesn't bother me who people date or marry because I don't discriminate when dating or marrying myself. I recommended interracial dating instead of people limiting themselves and furthering missing out on a great partner due to ignorance. But at the end of the day do it for the right reasons not because of some underlying insecurity within yourself.

I'm a 4C & I don't have a problem attracting black men. I did wonder how my boyfriend would react to my hair after I took my crochet braids out & he was cool with it. He likes to play with the 4Z naps I have in my kitchen.

Stop with the stereotypes. I've seen just as many white and other women with attitudes. Where do you live? Asian women in certain countries walk all over their men. Very aggressive, they never get labeled.
If anything I have seen black women bend over backwards and accommodate black men to the point of detriment. They're too nice. Too accommodating. Taking care of men, making excuses for Them. There's issues in the black community but trust the root isn't the "black womans" attitude.

It's not a stereotype - it's a reality that, sadly, you can't face.

The other black men were unattractive rejects all through life, black women didn't want them anyway. They have to buy women. Those relationships never end well. The white women usually leaves the black guy and takes half his money.
This isn't to do with attractiveness, but mentality or attitude.
I've been in situations where black women have been in my face, usually due to either a misunderstanding or disagreement. Often, black women have a problem with backing down or compromising (and that black female aggression just worsens the situation). Women of other races would have been more graceful in the very same situation.
You're obviously missing the point and women who act like door mats are at the opposing end of the spectrum. Some black men simply want someone in between the two extremes. Unfortunately, many black women are unable to provide this.
No, I'm just clarifying your point. But it doesn't bother me who people date or marry because I don't discriminate when dating or marrying myself. I recommended interracial dating instead of people limiting themselves and furthering missing out on a great partner due to ignorance. But at the end of the day do it for the right reasons not because of some underlying insecurity within yourself.
Nonetheless , I stated true facts and unfortunately it wasn't to your liking.
Like you, I champion interracial dating but this has got nothing to do with insecurities - for those black men I have mentioned, it's got to do with wanting a peaceful life.
I've spoken to many black men, and have heard stories from people over the years, and there are many black men who have had enough of dealing with the aggressive and confrontational side of black women. It doesn't mean they don't find black women attractive in the slightest.
But, as the saying goes, different strokes for different folks...

Apparently, its because of my hair.
I'm black, 5"5 and have 4C hair on my crown and 4b at my nape. I've had my fro on for a long time, threading, heat stretching or hot combing it for consistency sometimes. It never came to me - ever - that white guys preferred natural hair on black women. Whereas, black men preferred relaxed or texturized hair!
And, here I was, wondering why I never turned the heads of the brothas.
